btw I'm still waiting on some TL writers to chime in on this discussion about getting access and permission to cover Chinese events. There's nothing to say, we don't have enough staff to cover anything CN. We're busy enough as is with both LCS and OGN.
CN would be next on priority if I had more writers. But obviously before that, I'd need to contact CN orgas, etc, for all the reasons you all have said above.

I've been busy this week but I finally caught up with LPL finals, I'll be messaging you again to get something out.

I think the NGF match between WE and OMG showcased San's weakness. OMG can't play traditional 4-protects-1s that a lot of other Chinese teams like WE and Royal can fall back on, because San isn't that reliable. In a Kog vs. Vayne hypercarry game like that one, the difference between San and the next level of ADCs like Uzi and Weixiao was painfully clear.

KT Rolster Bullets aren't an AD carry-centric team though, and Caitlyn's has much better cohesion with Nasus for the lane-pushing/bringing down towers strategy.

I think it's always a good idea to have a backup late game plan; I don' think Trist's pushing in 2v1 isn't too far off from Cait's 2v1.

that's not what i meant
trying to read through the blur
CHN WEI CHN MING CHN YU CHN GAO CHN FENG
and
KOR KIM KOR CHOI KOR RYU KOR GO KOR WON
instead of WE G CaoMei, KT B InSec etc. just find it interesting they are using their country and real names as summoner id's rather than their team and alias.
