Thats actually a huge advantage for the scene as a whole. Advantages of playing from home -consistent settings and equipment -Cheaper over long term Advantages of PC bang - lots of other players(very good chance that there are better players than you) - every champion unlocked - incentives - very cheap in the short term(isn't KR PC bang extremely cheap, like under a dollar per hour including consumables?) - environment. When you have all your friends with you, and you compete against people you know, it's easier to improve. The price varies, it usually $1 per hour, and then consumables range form 80cents to $2ish. If you intend to sit there for more than 12 hours the price usually dips below $1 per hour, but you can save the time if you have an account so it isnt unusual to pay say $10 and get 12h. Disadvantages: There will be smokers there, and you will smell/feel it even if you sit in a nonsmoker setting. If this wasnt the case Id probably never have bought my own pc here

People can say all they want about pc pangs or team houses or whatever but in the end it comes down to the players. When NA wants to train for a tournament they do SoloQ for 2 weeks. When Korea wants to train they scrim the best teams they can find and they play serious.

i feel like that's pretty exaggerated/misinformed

They are all in one city, the infrastructure is there, they have coaches AND analysts, the pressure to perform is huge because there are always Koreans who are just or almost as good as you to replace you, you have the pressure of needing to perform because you don't want to shame your family because you're playing games while literally everyone else is studying, etc. But this has been talked to death already. Anyway, NA teams have been consistently scrimming at least 4 hours (up to 8-10) every day now. The notion that they play SoloQ to train for tournaments is no longer true.

The CLG documentary is so funny. The amount of bullshit some CLG member are spouting is just awesome (lose to round of 8, losing to both AZF and CLG.eu and state they are the "silver medals" and it's hard...), and then they lose most of their games. Seems like the documentary, despite all the time it made to make it, is unfinished : there are nothing about CLG.eu, nothing about locodoco... The music is good tho.

why people say elise late game is bad? i pick 6item elise over majority of 6 item bruisers any day

- lots of other players(very good chance that there are better players than you) does not matter because they are all playing on the same server. It is not a pc bang advantage
About smoking I think since yesterday there is a law that forbids smoking in pcbang. At least my pcbang had a notice about the law.

It is a progamer mentality issue and they dont know how to train properly. In addition of missing coaches who can kick player out of a team.

While the documentary was a decent watch, the lack of interviews with former members like Kobe, Saint, Elementz was kinda sad. Also i know ipl apparently didnt provide footage but not even mentioning that our brudda loco was part of the roster lol...especially interesting imo because they tries to bring in a guy thats trained under the "korean system".
Infact this wasn't THE documentary because judging from all the interviews ( 2xlift sporting allstars jacket) this was probably all done in the last 2-3 weeks With machinimavs. The original trailers looked way better.
Imo the only really interesting thing was that own3d owns dbl 20k and the convo after losing at worlds.
Chauster's statements are hilarious, hilariously bad.

![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/ZkmiYC5.png) I guess they didn't want to show their failure too much, and probably didn't want so much footage to be focused on players that have since left or been kicked from the team. I still think kicking Saint was their dumbest decision. They should have sticked with Voy, too.

While she remains one of the best duellers late game, she does taper of in team fights compared to most bruisers. She is very susceptible to roots, doesn't get near as tanky as other tanky chars if you go that route and if you go heavy AP you have a weak ranged spell arsenal but still need to stay out of the fight a fair bit. That said she can be solid in say a Poke comp if the enemy team has limited team initiation, or in general if the enemy team has an assassin. Its why she has a fairly low win rate imho: at lower skill levels people don't know how to close out games and at very high skill levels people can typically avoid feeding her to much early.
All that said her early laning and jungling is so dominant that you should hit your items and levels long before your opponents in solo qeue.

Why are people still repeating this BS? Like this lie circulates around LOL-forums so much its starting to piss me off. Of course there is a hint of truth there, but still...

AP Elise soloing baron with no resistance items is the most hilarious thing ever. At least in my opinion.

Agreed. There were next to zero prostreams during the last few weeks of LCS. Do you know why? all too busy scrimming instead of solo-queuing. I can remember an Elementz interview somewhere where he said they scrim 10-12 hours a day or so in the weeks leading up to major events.
But hey, I'm sure the fact they say yolo or worth occasionally says everything you need to know about their personality and work ethic. >_<

Yes as long as they trained hard during the last few weeks of LCS that clearly means they've reached the work ethics of the Korean pro scene
