It's real, 'Gamecribs', produced by gamespot with not so subtle advertising for TSM's sponsor (guess that's part of the reason why they promote their show so much).

My guess is TSM wanted to wait a few weeks before making their decision, but WildTurtle wouldn't let them.
Think of it from Turtle's perspective. He's coming off of an amazing performance with the team so right now is when his perceived value would be the highest. Plus he has another team and if he didn't get picked up by TSM then any time he spent playing with them so they could evaluate him or whatever would cut into practicing with Cloud9 to possibly qualify with them.
He would have every incentive to tell TSM he needs a decision right away, or he will commit to Cloud9. It would let him capitalize on his LCS performance while it was still fresh in their minds, and it would avoid giving them time to work out whatever problems they were having with Chaox.
Or at least that makes way more sense to me then ditching a long time player after 3 games.

Turtle also needs to confirm if he's playing with TSM or competing with Cloud9 for the LCS Promotion Series in May. Riot needs the paperwork in very soon.

Hmm, I didn't think of it from that perspective. You're probably right from Turtle's perspective. C9 just qualified for Spring Promotion and Turtle was a big part of their success. In the sense of rejuvenating their lineup, this is a much needed replacement for TSM.

I was kind of surprised because i really thought somebody like eve or sion would get picked next. I think those are the two heroes with the sketchiest graphics atm.

This turtle is the wildest! Wildturtle gogogo!

I wonder what C9 will do now though. I can't imagine they have very long to find a replacement if paperwork is supposed to be due soon. Sucks to be them I guess.

Karma finally catches up to Chaox.

Feels like we need the SC2 trailer with the marine saying it's about time.

dang man. I can't wait to see how this plays out on the reality show.

I don't know if Chaox was 100% the problem, but TSM needed a change, kinda like when a stagnant sports team fires a head coach even though he clearly does not have the players, they just needed some kinda change and this opportunity was beyond clear.
|
Was Chaox benched as in "put as official sub", or was he utterly kicked out of the team? The announcement isn't clear and Chaox seems to say it's the later.

They still have Dan and wingsofdeath so they already meet the minimum requirement for the number of subs even if Chaox is out. The main thing I'm wondering is if Chaox will stay in the house.

lucky guess lol
TSM will be really good now I think, hard to watch as a CLG fan -__-

Chaox's problems seemed to go deeper than just performance. He really looked like he wasn't into it. The very first gamecribs (yeah I watch it semi-religiously, it's trashy and you have to ignore the unbelievably blatant product placement but it's still interesting) has a pretty big bust up between him and Regi where Regi threatens to boot him and Chaox says he'd be happy to walk. His attitude at Dallas seemed to be terrible, with multiple instances of being late for practice, showing up to a match hungover (looking like he'd had a massive, massive night) and nearly being late, wandering off with a fangirl before practice and not showing up. The team was pissed at him and it really looked like he didn't care.
Probably best for all parties really. Chaox will either find a way to enjoy the game again or do something else with his life and TSM will have a player that's actually interested in playing for them.

I'd really love to grab Thresh/Voli/Jayce/Syndra or Vi's skin. I'm also tempted to buy Maokai on sale or Arcade Sona though TT
Yeah I'm obsessive over sales. I took a period of time off from LoL a bit over year ago and I fell so far behind in my champ roster. I don't get loads of time to play so if there's a 6300 champ on sale that I'm even slightly interested in I'll buy it. Don't get me started on skins haha.

Maybe Chaox wasnt the only problem, but if half of what they say on gamecribs/twitter/vlogs is true, his attitude was really hurting him and his team. You dont make these dramatic "I will improve and buy this jewellery to remind me of my dedication" vlogs at the beginning of the season to end up showing up hours late to practice with your team at an event, let alone repeat that 2 days later and walking in like nothing wrong happened.
Compare his situation to say Dyrus, who for all his flaws has, just like he said at the beginning of the season, reduced his champion pool and really tightened his play on those champions and has become probably the most reliable performer on TSM in the LCS.

Here's my skin codes from PAX - Used only on NA, so I suppose available everywhere else.
