I mean compare some of the giant legendary names of real sports like Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, or John Elway to what eSports have. Fatal1ty, Boxer, and Daigo are probably the three biggest eSport names that come to my mind. And all of them have been forced to play multiple "games/sports" because the previous game(s) they played died off. Kareem Abdul Jabbar didn't have to move on to basketball 2 or new sport X because basketball's gameplay got stale or a better version came out. | ||

 . Every community has their great names. I think that's part of the charm of gaming not a downside. Sure the average lifespan of a game is way shorter than a sport but that just means that it just has to live that much more in that lifespan. Create that many more legends and dreams. Each generation has their own titles they love and hold dear, they might not be the titles we grew up with and hold close to our heart but that doesn't matter in the end. It might matter to some corporate that's attempting to monetize it in a way it can't be monetized but who cares about that. At the end of the day we all are all here because we love it and that's all that needs to happen. | ||

Basicaly they kept growing and had to keep spending money to grow and cash flow got completely out of control to run them into the ground. the begging of the year cpi crash killed them in the end. | ||
