Those brackets need to go. Still, the Nunu question stands. I have no idea how to play with him because I mostly pick "safe" ad's and work to dominate the lategame and maybe do some harass but rarely commit to killing. I don't know if it's just my picks, my playstyle or if Nunu is actually a terrible support in most lanes.

http://www.reignofgaming.net/blogs/a-different-view/vvinrar/22455-all-about-season-3-item-efficiency https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AhSzLWU_Cl-NdDFIRFFNeklfY1UyRHQ3b2dLYjhSdHc&authkey=CLm220c&toomany=true#gid=13 I haven't done any calculations myself so I'm assuming everything on there is accurate - how do you guys feel about some of these new items? There were a few standouts that I took note of... Morellonomicon: looks very nice, still a niche item but it's actually buyable now. If a team is running 2 APs with mana, it might be a nice option for the AP who isn't getting blue buff. Twin Shadows: One ghost for the enemy mid, one for the enemy jungler. The stats are perfect for mid lane and can scout out the enemy jungler if he's nearby, and assist in any mid lane + jungler skirmishes around wraiths or buffs Locket of the Iron Solari: anyone considering getting this on top laners now? The stats are nice, for someone like Malphite or Shen it would be a good support-y option, it leaves the support more gold to buy... Mikael's Crucible: I think this one's already been mentioned. So is it a staple item for supports now? Or is it a game-by-game basis thing like QSS on the AD? Will top laners and junglers carry more of the burden of buying aura items like Zeke's, Aegis, and Locket so the support can afford this? I'm looking forward to where these changes will take us. Double AP comps? Triple bruiser? I really have no clue.

No idea, they just enrage me and sit in the brush and wait for something to happen, snowballing people from time to time when they come close. I don't recall them snowballs doing significant damage so probably enrage first but idk. That last one got at least one level of consume and kept stealing my farm.

Nunu loses like loses like every lane except maybe against blitz but his Bloodboil is basically a free item for your AD which makes him really fucking useful. He also is a big threat in teamfights because of his ultimate, and his Iceball slow is fucking huge. I hate playing against Nunu and I love when I have a Nunu on my team. I have no idea what you mean by your playstyle. Kogmaw and Vayne, 2 of the best late game ADs, are the best ADs to combine with Nunu. Also, if everybody just hides their border, then it's solved. Just because somebody is hiding something doesn't mean anything.

If they aren't maxing iceblast first then that's probably the problem. Bloodboil max leaves you very weak in lane.

It seems pretty intuitive to me that, at least in the current meta, LoL would have many more hard counters than DotA: sure, there's no deny, but there are more 1v1 or 1v2 lanes, leading to critical ranged farming capabilities or trading tools in champions' kits. You can more or less assume what's going to be played where, and picks with multiple lane choices like Kennen (esp. when he was played AD too), or currently Lee in soloQ (top? mid? jungle?) are seen as such a big plus that it's pretty telling about the importance of the match-ups. iirc, in DotA some heroes are generally easy to shutdown by themselves or simply weak in lane (inherently, not especially related to a carry state or something that makes their early levels weak), but those are then sent to the "long lane" with one or sometimes 2 co-laners to help them farm, while the fact that you'll forego a lot of farm in the "suicide lane" is more or less admitted, meaning counters are already accounted for in some way when you choose who to pick for that lane? When I'm playing Nunu support I go WEE, taking a point in Q whenever, and I only use it against a heavy harass lane if it allows me to counteract their harass (I use it on a low health minion so as not to push, and anyway if I "steal" a cs then just think of it as an additional ward when I'll back). I know Q shouldn't be used in an ideal scenario, but when I manage to bait them to try and focus me rather than my carry during a gank/countergank, being able to consume a creep and shug a health pot so I can survive or tank more hits while my ADC does the damage unhindered makes it worth it to me.

If you're talking about the latter, I'd recommend 7-zip. Makes it easy to compress folders and gives you lots of control over the format and level of compression.

Aka I'm too lazy to do 100 videos separably. I use Fraps. Feel free to just PM me if you want to help so we don't clog up the thread. The thing is I just left all my recordings uncompressed in a spare harddrive I had and when I made a montage I would render that montage so I could upload it. So I don't really use any encoding software because I'm a technological noob. Now I could just delete them all but I'd rather archive them for now.

Just because somebody is hiding something doesn't mean anything. I think Janna is a lot more comparable to Vayne than Nunu. Like, yeah, his blood boil is pretty nifty come late game. But his consume and ult are reallyyyyy situationally useful (and in most situations, come late game, his ult and consume are useless). Janna has a very mediocre lane phase and is still the best support late game. Who gives a shit if Nunu has blood boil when you have a knock up, slow, shield that also functions as an AD steroid, and the best team fight ult of any of the supports so long as you use it properly.
