Both communities are running with statements (Which are likely some form of misunderstanding, or at minimum poor word selection causing misinterpretations. It is very unlikely that executives of companies are outright lying to the public in this context) in a way that suits their side, and doing so with an incredible amount of (unwarranted) hostility. There's obviously going to be speculation when statements like these leak, and that's fine, but the vitriol is unnecessary(and to be fair, obviously the 'shots fired' came from DotA2 since they were the initial responders to the idea of exclusivity). | ||
