It's too bad you don't have the same awesome detective skills as me, scip. Dude if you know something that I don't, you better post guards all around your house tonight. And all the nights to come. I still think you don't know anything. Just was wondering, most likely some random IntriXs friend, didn't find him on the major UK chatchannel either though.
Think about it - it's kind of obvious.

@soniv: Personally, I would just go ahead and apply. Worst case, you come back in a year with a better résumé. :p
On a related note, I've been considering applying for a tester position at Riot. I currently test at Nintendo of America, and they use a system where I'm contracted through an outside company. As a result I have to take two consectutive months off a year and they get away with giving us zero benefits. From what I gather, this is pretty common practice in the game industry (because the number of tester positions varies wildly based on the number of projects running, and this allows them to release us at will), but I dunno if Riot does it.
Anyone know if Riot uses a similar system, or do I have to just land an interview to find out? They don't seem too forthcoming with details on the various job descriptions. I like my job, but it'd be nice if it had a little more stability.

This is just making me even more curious. Is this the real silsol then? Did the silsol ebay'ed his account thing originate from here? :S

Trust me, once you've burnt a month of your life on something like "Sparkle Snapshots 3D" you lose any illusions you might've had about testing.

Software testing blows. I much prefer being on the development side.
Census is cool, too, right guys? Guys?

Yeah Rengar's low win rate has been mentioned. They may have just messed up with the spotlight saying to max Q. We'll never know.
Tried some rammus out. He's still pretty cool. I don't think anyone has an ult that has both more aoe dps and a longer duration. I maxed Q.

Well, I saw the Riot job openings about 3.5 hours ago, and I just sent in my application. Oh boy dream job, let's see what happens.

im not sure what your point is.
no one knows how to play him the first day he is out.

Noone knew how to play Zyra, but she was still retard-proof and faceroll enough that she probbly hit far more than 37%.

don't worry, some people (read: me) just work in an office cubicle on a computer for 8 hours doing nothing particularly exciting

For one I don't get why everyone and their mom plays him as a jungler when toplane makes far more sense

I haven't seen a Rengar miss all skillshots and still have enough damage to kill squishies the same way Zyra did. Then again, he's got no skillshots. Well, I could say that Rengar is less safe ("retard-proof") than Zyra, and that his lack of AoE makes him less faceroll than Zyra, if you will.

Woah. Don't hate on the cubicle.

Isn't it obvious? Zyra on the first day was like 55-ish already. Diana was like 53. Both actually have skillshots and it is actually possible to play bad (by missing skillshots/seeds/moonlight buffs)
|
Skillshot implies abilities that can be missed. Zyra and Diana don't really fall into that category.
Rengar has too many toxic aspects to not warrant changing him, as does Diana.

i dunno. ive done extremely well with him in the jungle. once you get in the groove with how to play him he is strong as hell. it took ~10-15 games for me to get comfortable with him though. he is kind of underwhelming at first, ill give you that, but he has enormous potential.
imo, it seems like his best spot is jungling. his ganks are pretty nuts, and im not sure how useful his ult would if he is stuck in top lane. the 7 sec (i believe thats the duration, 3 sec longer with necklace stacks) stealth on his ult lets you pull off some awesome plays.
i wish i could post some replays to show you guys what i mean.
one example: my bot lane was fighting the other bot lane. the fight broke off and everyone was chunked pretty good. the enemy ad was still in the lane cs'ing, so i ult stealth past their ward and go to attack the ad. when i get in range of the brush, janna is revealed and i see she is 1\3 health and trying to b. i instantly change targets, jump on janna and burst her down before they even knew i was coming. exhaust the now defenseless ad and my bot lane, with my help, cleaned up.
i dont think any other jungler could have pulled that off, janna would have seen me coming through the ward, fallen back, and used her tornado to knock us up. on rengar it turned into a double kill for my team.
another example: my mid lane gets ganked and dies. their jungler and mid go to put a few hits on the mid tower. i stealth through the mid brush and come up behind them, jump on the mid, and burst him down, again, before they even knew i was anywhere close by.
these kind of plays are really fun to pull off, and i think when people get more experience with him they will realize how strong he is. personally i dont think he belongs top lane at all. but maybe im wrong about that.
