I carried myself to ~1300. But the following games weren't stellar on my part, and I've been carried more than once up to 1400. So I don't expect to be able to do too well as of now. Which isn't a bad thing: what was frustrating around 1200 was losing not because of my own skill, but rather my inability to carry (the classic "win lane lose game"), or not having the proper mindset (less freezing, more roaming). So if I hit a wall now, or if I start getting destroyed even in solo lanes, then it'll set the bar for new improvements. \o/

Yo Vayne is just stupidly strong at low elo, all you need to do is farmfarmfarm and maybe get a GA after your PD and you are basically going to win 100% of the time after that.

That's true for any other carry aswell lol, vayne just kills faster but if all you do is farmfarmfarm it doesn't matter that much at low elo.

Time Management
Pick 2-3 days a week to work out, find somewhere that's convenient to use (bonus points for minimizing time spent in traffic by when and where you go). Mondays suck and Fridays you want to screw around, so usually not those.
Fri-Sun is typical social days. That leaves you at least 3 days a week just to sit on your ass playing league from 6:30 to 11pm.

I used to get red pots to try to win trades top but sometimes people don't trade you and other times I forget to press the pot button. It'd be even worse if I died while using red pot. Finally, it doesn't feel worth it to gimp yourself 250 gold to have a chance for a kill.

Played a game with Corki, ended the game 12/4/12 as a loss, my counter pick skills don't scale well into late game.

This also ties into another point Trist is really strong right now Graves used to be very good vs her but with his nerf its not hard to farm through mid and early early game.

Thats just, like, your opinion, man.
I find that mid/early game pots may be worth it. 250 gp and you instantly go from being guaranteed to lose the lane/game to maybe having a chance to start dominating.

Best elo is 1700-1800. Described as being on the cusp of greatness, everyone is a ticking timebomb of anger. Unbelievable amounts of trolling. Unbelievable amounts of rage. Everyone thinks they are amazing at the game and refuse to take any advice or step down in the slightest.

Since there is no activity in LoL general. Here are some personal things.
I have a king rammus skin, pink trist and Alistar something skin. ( bandito fiddle and another one too) on an account i barely use for anything other than smurfing ranked games with friends. I reallllllllly want an account merge feature. My current account has like 3 skins and about 10x the ip spent on my beta account.
Also based on some reddit post karthus will become fotm, I will have to pick up something else for passive game, I am not a fan of Galio (mainly because if played against correctly and with solo Q team work he isn't very good.) but i think he and TF would be the best to abuse if Karthus + Morg becomes common bans. Anivia and Ryze would be ok to pick up but they exert to little pressure on other lanes. I have quite a few counterpick mids but i need a better core rooster. Also my play time is so limited right now, I am working 3 12 hour shifts this weekend(today too  which was friday for me 2 hours ago ) which means no play time.

Disagree, she's the worst carry for low elo imo. Very weak laning and as you generally get terrible supports, you will lose some lanes really hard. She also cannot speedfarm at all if she falls behind early. I think that someone like Graves, Corki are much better in low elo because you can consistently get those 300 minions at 30min games that allow you to 1v5.

300 farm at 30 minutes? Jesus I don't think i've done that in my life. I think it's easier to just take the aggressive approach. Try 10 kills in 15 minutes. When I boost my friends accounts I just play corki leona or corki blitz and win every lane

Sure he lacks mobility and stuff, but as he is a pleasure to gank for, he ganks very well if allowed to cast his W. Plus he doesn't rely on any spell to dish out the pain, kinda like Cass: their ults are great bonuses, but they don't need them to curbstomp.

Although 200 seconds cooldown is sad, this patch doesn't seem too dumb. They buffed orianna but she shouldn't be overpowered, high tier tho.

Orianna: gonna need to math out her passive to see when it's going to be worse than previously, but if you don't go over 2 attacks it's a lot better than before.
About the global cooldown, so I take it the delay between a Q and a W wasn't related to her animations (the way she lifts her arms when she makes the ball move)?
Sona: holy shit that champion prioritization is exactly what I wanted to be able to poke with her without being sticked to your target! (And even then, I recall being grabbed by a Blitz with 50hp under his turret, I press Q and hit two minions instead of him... how could they have been closer than him? x_x)

I wouldn't call ori's changes buffs.. I've gonna reserve judgement until the patch goes live (tomorrow..?) but reducing move speed on her Q coupled with the damage nerf is gonna hurt. You pretty much have to max W now. Maybe the GCD change will be more noticeable than I'm thinking, but I don't like the changes at all tbh
