If I'm top and smash my lane all game, only to see that bot is 0/10 combined with no CS, jungle has been AFK farming and causing mid+bot to bitch at him, and then we get destroyed in team fights, there is no point in saying "gg" because it simply wasn't. Saying nothing at all is the best thing to do in that situation. But in certain scenarios, a "gg wp" is definitely called for, because it was just that. | ||

What's the difference between you going 10/0 in lane and bot going 0/10? If you go 10/0 you're amazing if you're bot goes 0/10 they're feeders. If you were bot you'd say you carried so hard. Nobody cares if it was a good game or not, most games are "not a good game" from some players perspective. | ||

But didn't your top lane keep playing against you despite losing? He could've just afkd. Doesn't the enemy team deserve some credit because they smashed your bot lane? It's just a formality, sign of sportsmanship or whatever. But you're right tho, I don't even GG people in BW because it's not as hard as a gunfight, 1mistake in a gunfight and you die. I only GG after I Win my gunfights. | ||

I think the meaning of saying "gg" has been lost. You're right, I don't find most games to be good. Whether I have an awesome premade team and we destroy the opponents or if I'm in a ranked game with 2 enemies AFK or baddies, I don't say it. But if it is a 50+ minute game, close fights, even grounds(similar CS/K/D ratio), or one team comes back from losing, a "gg wp" is DEFINITELY called for. | ||

My interpretation is that the enemy team is already pretty upset that they had such players on their team, so I don't need to say anything to them really. If someone is mad, you typically just leave them alone and let them calm down on their own. | ||

It's like expecting that everytime you sneeze, a person near you should say "bless you" or "gesundheit". Them not saying anything isn't rude. to further this analogy, lets say that I sneezed (played a LoL game) and there were people around but no one said 'bless you' (gg). I go home and complain about those people to my roomates (TL) for 5 minutes (5 pages). All I am really accomplishing is pissing off my friends. seriously, its the internet. people call each other faghomobuttlickers all the time. I am sure that you all can deal with people not GGing you. | ||
