Voidlings scale 1 to 1 with Malzahar's Bonus AD and APen, but see no benefit from crit/lifesteal/attack speed. I don't think they're affected by auras.
AD Malz is probably my favorite troll build. With max CDR you can have three voidlings at once (four very briefly in the right circumstances). His damage potential is actually pretty ridiculous. He's literally the best split pusher in the game. Towers melt before him like butter, and it takes two people to chase him off. If only one person arrives to stop him all Malzahar has to do is E->R and his three voidlings eat them alive.
I need to make a spreadsheet for him sometime.

Oh? Haha that sounds awesome!

Jungle vayne is really annoying because she does insane damage without that many items but she don't get to keep farming because of the other ad carry looking for farm so later on my udyr outscaled their double ad hard and their morgana had no tanks to back her up.

Tried to new vlad yesterday and he seems really good right now, I'd place him with the top tier casters now.

Honestly I'm suprised the pros don't do this already. If it saves you 10 seconds per game (where even if you are waiting to heal you get to see what's going on on the map) it's more than worth the five minutes spent making the list.
Ah, cheers for the link - been meaning to see if it was possible to customise Recommended Items for ages. Time to sort out all my supports/junglers. Sadly items disappear once purchased so I can't use slots for even lazier ward/health pot shopping

He actually does this quite often. The ganks are ridiculous. Just tumbles in and blows people up with the help of the lane.
Edit: Solo q of course

Gman Bob mentioned yesterday that for AD carries there's a "soft cap" (I'm pretty sure that's what he said) at about 200 AD and at that point it's better to prioritze attack speed and crit. Can anyone elaborate on this more? I don't play AD carry very often so just wondering. If you're already near that 200 mark it makes more sense to choose IE/PD first than BT right?

Well, crit and AS are better when you have more AD, since they multiply the AD damage you're already doing. It's not as cut-and-dry as what Guardsman bob said, but that's a reasonable rule-of-thumb to go by.

2 disconnects on his team at the start of the game ruined the flow. He was against a Shyvanna, so by the time his top lane reconnected, she had stole his whole jungle. It was a pretty fun looking idea while it lasted.

i dont know if that is true but i would love to see the math. it certainly feels true. when i have zerks/pd/ie/lw and a vamp scepter and then i build the scepter into a bt i cant really feel any difference in my damage.

Soft cap is definitely the wrong term and I don't know the actual numbers offhand. The basic idea is that stacking just one stat and ignoring the others results in less overall damage than getting a good mix of them all.

No I understood that much, but I don't understand the AHGL vs. Smash spear reference. Is he going to be casting LoL?

I'm pretty sure someone just got horribly mixed up and misread LoL being featured as a 2nd game in the After Hours gaming league as Riot participating.
Basically, Day[9] ran a charity SC2 tourney last year for tech companies and this year they're doing it again and have expanded to more tech companies (including mine) and added LoL in addition to SC2.

Yeah, an example of a "soft cap" is the way Riot treats movement speed - decreasing the gained mvspd past a certain point. Using that term is decidedly misleading here.

I'm pretty sure its going to be SC2. I mean why would Day[9] broadcast LoL o.O I don't remember him mentioning him playing it at all err....
So far looking for the timeframe as where he announced.

Day9 does all of the casting for AHGL, because it is a league that he started (if i'm not mistaken.) Judging by the talent level of the Starcraft players from last year, Smash is probably going to be WAY better than most (or all) of the other people and need to carry hard. The spear thing was just me trying to make a joke. Day9 likes to mix in Brood War terms and jokes all the time in his casting.
