Garen gets damage and a LW. Riven bursts him down in lane and gives zero fucks. He has a place in match-ups, but vs Riven he's kinda hosed. | ||

His skill set is terrible for any fight that lasts longer than the duration of his E is his problem. Once his q and e are done he gets to auto or run until they are up again. His skills which he uses to kill things, also happen to be what he needs to run away if he gets caught. Over a 20 second fight garen can't do much, but over a 20 minute laning phase things are much different. | ||

Also my necrophilic love yorick is pretty awesome against riven and he also scales quite well as well as supporting your ad carry by making a clone of him with 75% damage for 10 seconds. | ||
