The only ones I can thnk of off the top of my head are the Fnatic games during Dreamhack. Notably the finals.

Didn't fnatic run Gragas/Kassadin for a few games at IEM NY?

I abuse my banning power all the time. I used to ban Akali, not because she was op and would beat my team, but because I didn't want to follow an asshole into a 2v2, only to watch her disapear and let them focus my squishy ass down.

Best of luck to you and severity, gtr. Iowa is kinda far from Connecticut or I'd prolly come watch.
Now I wish more of TL B was on to play :/

Double ap can work, the problem gets to be that you have to be real careful what ap you pick, cuz a lot of bruisers are perfectly happy playing against ap champs, especially since top is such an easy lane to gank.

Bruisers don't like playing against Swain.

Bruisers don't like playing against Swain. There are obviously some matchups that go the other way. Just like there are some matchups that destroy ad support bot lane.

Saying streaming a videogame is a job is really insulting to almost everyone.

Dyrus and frozt are shoutcasting the semi-finals and finals, there's a couple grand in prizing, and it should be a blast. i will be streaming the event if i can (i honestly have never been to a lan though, i don't even know if i'll be able to access the internet while i'm plugged into the lan box or whatever, i'm an internet noob), so if you want to watch you can from home but if you come to the event, look for us! we'll be in black t-shirts with "Severity Gaming" in white on the front and our screen names in gold on the back (TL posters on the team going to iowa: Ruken, TreeBeard, Snowster_SC (ObamasLeftHand) and myself (guitarasaurus)). the event starts at 6pm on saturday evening and goes straight through til there's a winner! you can catch my stream of our matches at www.livestream.com/gtrsrsthanks

"Random Solo Q'r: teemo solo top" *hover mouse over teemo on ban picks* You're ridiculing yourself with this. Teemo is a strong solo top.

If you go double AP just get double Will and win every fight for dragon. My mind went blank and I can't think of who rushes Will besides Kennen, but Kennen does ok top.

I couldn't stomach the last few pages and I love LoL drama. I am disappointed that people mentioned Chaox, Dan Dinh, and Doublelift as quality streams without mentioning jiji. Y'know, the original quality streamer.

CLG ran a doulbe AP comp with Jiji on Kennen mid and SaintV with Jungle Rumble. Double WotA meant theyr just could not die. SaintV also played a jungle Rumble game on November 22 05:48 (KST) in a ranked game with a Karthus mid and Kennen top which lead to a triple WotA game. That was also ridonkulous since their AD Carry was Graves and he spellvamped off his Q+R and never died either.
In tournaments, it's mainly been the domain of Fnatic ever since the DCap nerf. The tend to run very assassin/snowball heavy comps and play towards a strong midgame. IEM NY is a prime example of this.

a job is anything you do routinely that pays you in some monetary form. how is streaming not a job?

So Irelia with the new masteries gets 85% cc reduction via passive, mercs, and the 21 defense mastery. Better nerf Irelia.
