You can easily make teams just to better your rank stats, too. Tired of long queues and facing people your skill level? No problem, make a new team with the same exact people and stomp some noobs for cool ranked stats.
It's also super easy to wintrade. Make two identical 10 man teams and get them to a similar Elo and just get 5 to queue on your first team and then the other 5 on your second team. Free Elo.
Riot es best and Haoz is best 3v3 gymleader master.

I don't see anything wrong with it at all, it's valid criticism of Riot's (obviously shoehorned-in) ranked teams system. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=32696¤tpage=1048#20969It's whining about his latest loss which belongs in the QQ thread.
Sure, but the post had more than just QQ in it. On top of that, the announcement only says that QQ may result in a warning and not a ban.

I think this all goes to show why 'seeding tournaments' are bad in the first place. Especially with having separated it into 2 qualifiers. I don't blame the players, I think the admins screwed up with the format tbh. Not that they're horrible people or something (there's way too much of that going around) just that they made a mistake.

DQ them all and give the slots to team that want to play
Next time don't release seeding info til after

How can you blame the admins? Generally when a team beats another team they're considered stronger. However, v8 beat CLG and everyone still thinks that they're the easier team and therefore would rather play them. I don't disagree with this notion, but a team is going to try to win and if they think v8 is the easier team to play then they're going to try to hit that team.

I don't understand why they had two qualifiers in the first place. Just gave teams like Dignitas and Curse who lost in the first qualifier a second chance and now in they even get a better "seed" than the teams that beat them in the previous qualifier. It just makes zero sense.

Next time don't release seeding info til after You can hardly blame EG and Dignitas choosing for forfeit their games. No team wants to have to face TSM/CLG first round, and the bad qualifier system means that the incentive to win has been incredibly perverted. As much as teams play to entertain their fans, they also play to win. And there's money on the line.

EG and Curse. Don't slander Dignitas please they aren't involved and wanted to play.

If they just took the top 8 teams from the previous qualifier how much of the seeding would have changed? nevermind very different.

Dig needs to win their game vs the "loser" of the DQ fest to get the 1 seed and drop to the bottom bracket. See my post 2 pages ago.
And drop the fanboyism Blitz. Last night Dig tried to FF before they realized they needed to win their game to drop to the lower bracket. No one is clean in this qualifier.

My name has been Dongtown for like nearly a thousand games =( I noticed "dong" is censored so.... meh Oh well. Unicorns I love isn't that bad, I'm not even mad. Just kinda surprised I didn't get an email notification. In other news, I got my first loss after 130 or so games at 600 ELO =P clearly can't carry Send in a support ticket if there's a different name you would like. Just explain that one of the Player Supports changed your name because it was possibly offensive. (I'm personally surprised they didn't choose an even more trollier name. But I guess it was a Brony Player Support. I have an idea who, lol)
Thanks for the advice Moonbear! I have sent in a ticket but if it doesn't work I don't care too much either

This is STILL all so confusing to me
I thought Dignitas was out of IEM Kiev -__-
did they do something to get back in? or was it just retarded decisions going into their favor.

When did that happen?
Dignitas won the Winner's Bracket of the second qualifier. They play the winner of Curse/EG for the first/second seed, but they both forfeited so no game could be played.

On November 28 2011 05:28 Two_DoWn wrote: So in case anyone was interested in the breakdown of what the IEM Kiev qualifiers look like at the moment, here is a breakdown.
Apparently it breaks down into a 1-8 ranking from quals 1 and 2, with the teams from the 1st qual getting the upper seed. So for example, TSM is the overall 1 seed (winning qual 1), and the winner of qual 2 will take the #2 seed. V8 is #3, CLG is #5, and Goose is #7.
Now here is where shit gets interesting. The bracket will presumably look like this-
TSM (1) #4 qual 2 (8)
#2 qual 2 (4) CLG (5)
V8 (3) #3 qual 2 (6)
#1 qual 2 (2) Goose (7)
Notice anything interesting? Ya, you dont want the 2 or 4 seed.
So here is how it currently breaks down. EG and COL play, with the loser becoming the 4 seed. Both teams gonna have to tryhard to avoid the upper bracket. The winner then plays curse, with the loser becoming the 3 seed. Both teams are gonna try to throw the game to dodge TSM and CLG. The "winner" of that game then has to tryhard vs Dig in order to get the #1 seed and avoid the upper bracket of doom.
EG-COL is at 8 est according to westrice's stream. ^ how it works. Eg took the game over col, so they had to face crs for the 2-3 matchup. EG and CRS tried to FF, not sure at this point who actually gets credit for the FF.
And bitz- on Dans stream after they beat reflex everyone was trying to figure out what positions they needed to get the lower bracket. EG wanted to postpone till today regardless, but dignitas first came back and said that they wanted to FF anyway, then came back and said that they didnt want to postpone, then they came back and said that they wanted to postpone. So ya, they thought that they wanted the 2 seed and were gonna FF away.

Has anyone noticed some really bad lag lately in the NA servers? I've lost 5-6 games in the last couple days almost solely because I'll be playing and all of a sudden my character refuses to respond for 5 seconds and I just die. Its fucking annoying as hell and makes me not even want to play anymore.

CLG TSM scrim starting soon~

Dignitas and Curse both played in the first qualifier. For some reason ESL decided to do a system where they have three qualifiers with the top four teams from the first two qualifiers going to the final qualifiers. I guess they wanted to give teams more than one chance to qualify which is kind of cool but considering each qualifier is already double elimination each team has like, six chances to qualify. Kinda silly and imo flawed format.
edit: And ESL has decided to randomize the seedings somehow to accomodate for EG and Curse forfeiting. Who knows how they'll do it.

lots of rainman overextend, tsm does well on rest of map anyway because saint practically camping top

Who is casting on the CLG shoutcasts channel?

Is Doublelift a better AD carry than Chaox, well at least in the recent scrims? Haven't seen the CLG vs TSM scrims but from comments on Reddit it seems like doublelift did ok and checking the CS of this game doublelift out csed Chaox by a lot even though TSM appears to be winning.

How may heals is TSM rocking right now?
