The second you get level 6 though the entire gameplan changes and Kass become crazy strong. you will make it to level 6 though, so its just a rough patch really, its not like you're going to get totally shutdown. Get a very early gank or poke and it helps a ton, even if it just reduces their health. goodness wise, Kassadin is a strong situational pick in high level play, he just shits on some characters and is tier 1 for sure IMO. Solo queue he is even better as people don't usually have to coordination to send their ad mid against him or switch lanes/pressure him early. He crushes solo. | ||

How good is kassadin atm? He is fucking retarded in soloqueue. I'm like 22-2 with him (1700 elo). You can counter him if you send an AD carry vs. him. The thing is NOBODY does that in soloqueue, especially at lower ELOs. Playing AP vs. Kass has to be the dumbest thing in the game, you sort of have an advantage at early levels but he can get by and once he has level 7 and blue he jumps on you and takes 40% of your HP in one combo and there is NOTHING you can do against it because he comes out of no where and silences you for forever. The other thing is that Kass is the best cleanup hero in the game and most of the time soloqueue team fights will be a mess of people running around/away so it's REALLY easy to pick up kills and if your team has even the tiniest advantage Kass will pick up on it and carry his team to victory.
