Maybe they are thinking support is more expendable and easily replaced, while AP mids are not, so they tried fixing jiji, but are granting the same tolerance to Elementz. It just makes me think CLG is a lot scummier and shady as they did not include Elementz in any of the discussions about picking up Doublelift and who was getting benched.

Like people make fun of hotshot for trolling solo queue because he doesn't care. But you know what hotshot does, he goes out and scrims with other teams, MiG needs a top? Hotshot subs in. How many times has clg stopped scrimming because elementz had to go out and do something? The people that practice the least on CLG are chauster and elementz imo and I think chauster is harder to replace than elementz is.

Just a little curious as to why you believe Chauster harder to replace. I'll clarify that a bit, he's not harder to replace because of skills, in fact I think he's easier to replace than a support that way. However, I think that hotshot would much rather make elementz a sub than he would make chauster a sub, and at the end of the day, it's still hotshot's team.

Even though just two weeks ago (as stated in the article!) all of CLG agreed to a scrim schedule and Elementz said it worked for him? Yeah, it seems like a big bullshit reason to me. I'm not the biggest Elementz fan but this just seems kinda... stupid. There's a lot of things wrong with that team besides just Elementz and to be fair I thought he was the only level-headed person on that team. Have you ever heard CLG's vent during a scrim?

There's a deeper problem here. When I saw a scrim where CLG was at least at a 15k gold advantage 20 minutes in and then proceeded to lose every teamfight up to 40 minutes then the game......... It was sort of obvious that their issues are in the TEAM, and not individual players. I have never seen CLG not pissed off at each other when they lose, or even win.

To me he seems to be like the father trying to calm everyone down, trying to mediate things. He doesn't get heated like those three.

Is this how LoL manages to get an absurd viewership? Drama isn't a bad thing. Never understood how or why people consider drama and the spectacle a bad thing. Every sport has it in spades, the entire point of it is that if something goes dramatastic it can be settled in the event where one side or person defeats the other. Excitement and spectacle is what drives alot of fandom and enjoyment for many gives you a human connection which is very important in Esports. I think Elementz is a good support, still do. Though his lack of showing up for scrims and such doesn't do him any good. I am sure he'll do just fine. He'd make a pretty solid Shoutcaster if he wanted to.

Here's the thing, everyone (including himself) keeps saying he's being kicked. But he's not kicked, CLG is trying something out and now he's a sub. If he thinks he's good enough, all he has to do is prove it. The only reason this is big news is because it's CLG. When dignitas (then Rock Solid), brought in Jatt, I'm sure the same conversation happened with Rambo. Nhat brought a lot of pressure to other supports since he actually played support. While I disagree with elementz being subbed out just like everyone else. I will respect CLG's decision until results show that it was a mistake (which will probably happen)

No matter how good people think Ele is at support and stuff he's definitely the worst player on that team. Maybe not the reason they don't win games or the source of team drama or anything like that but mechanically he is worse than anyone else on CLG. He's still good, better than me, but definitely not at the level of the rest of CLG. Will be interesting to see if Ele stays with CLG or tries to find a new team though. Especially since his Reign of Gaming thing is now attached to CLG. I think it sucks for Elementz. But no matter what he says I think the rest of CLG is better than him. I think that Doublelift is highly underrated as a player and it should be cool to see him develop more as an AD carry. CLG gave some bullshit reasons but honestly the only reason they could give him would be, "Doublelift and rest of us are better than you, sorry."

I will respect CLG's decision until results show that it was a mistake (which will probably happen) As a competitive player, no one wants to be benched. It's effectively like you're off the team since I doubt the 5 playing will want to split the prize money to a person who on the bench. Can you imagine what will happen if there are 2 or 3 benched players on a team and they have to split the money 8 ways? Being benched is the reason Doublelift left CLG in the first place.
