Calling it now. He beat Regi in lane as AP in scrims. Goes 13/0 no problem against scrubs as AP carry. And his solo AD was easily the best back when that was meta. Still, I think Chauster > jiji at AP unless jiji gets back into shape. If jiji doesn't get into shape they should've put him on support imo. I'm not surprised by Elementz being removed. HSGG, Chauster, and jiji are like the three founders of CLG. I don't see any of them going anywhere unless they want to leave.

The team is under the impression that you want your best talent in the support role, and not your worst player anymore.. so in that case, it makes sense to put a slacking jiji mid instead of a looking good chauster. I really like Chauster's ad play, I hope he rubs off on doublelift somewhat.

He might not do as well in lane, but he is much much better at positioning. I think jiji is being greatly undersold here, he was streaming his Anivia yesterday and he was an absolute force of nature. Edit: Just to clarify, I don't think jiji is better at all AP mids than Chauster. Chauster's Brand and Xerath are both considerably better than jiji's. I think overall jiji is a stronger AP mid though.

His AP style is so passive though - he does well on APs that it pays to be passive on (like anivia) but bad matchups hurt passive AP champs pretty badly.

Yeah but what Chauster, saint, etc. were saying is that laning is something that can be fixed through scrimming and such. But they both said that they thought jiji is better at positioning/teamfights which is harder to learn and takes more experience.

I feel bad for him, but I like how he ends on a somewhat happy tone, saying how this could lead into other things.
