Anything from like 1900 and down has a very short queue time, but the higher you are the more you play with the same small group of people. I've had one guy 6 times (he was on the losing side 5 of them), most of them in the last few days. You don't "grind up" Elo, either. Everyone has a relative level that they belong at. Eventually you reach that point and just float around it until you improve, regardless of games played. Actually getting up to e.g. the top 5 usually involves streaking (which means if you keep playing you'll fall back down). | ||
