Now, another bit I don't get. Supposedly only Phantom signed the contract with v8 (maybe the others did later, idk). So if Phantom is gone and he's the one with the contract, how the fk can v8 still have that sponsor? If I was in Phantom's position and capable of pulling the sponsorship, I 100% would.
Obviously both sides are at fault (to what extent, we can't really conclude), but what boggles my mind is...why would you go to a tournament and only know how to play 1-2 champions?

How old is Tree? The guy looks like he hasn't hit puberty yet.

Phantom pulled together a team and they qualified for IEM and were given a free spot in IPL. Teams banned out Phantom during qualifiers and team is like 'we really need to learn more champs.' According to Tree, rest of team starts playing solo queue a lot to learn new champs (at the last minute I guess) and Phantom doesn't 'cause he's too busy trying to get team publicity/sponsors.
v8 gets to IPL and they all play like shit. (Fuck what both sides say, I watched the games; they all played like ass.) Phantom says w/e we all played like shit and that he was too nervous at IPL. Rest of team blames loss entirely on Phantom and decide they're going to bench Phantom.
Phantom's basically "fuck that, I put this team together and got the sponsors, etc." According to Phantom, TakashiX (who they wanted to replace him with) hadn't played in any of the scrims or qualifier games up to that point. Both sides pretty much agree that the rest of the team had already locked in their decision to bench Phantom prior to actually talking to him (which is a pretty dick move). Tree states Phantom was too unwilling to learn from his mistakes or try to improve, which is why they wanted to replace him. Tree also basically said Phantom has a dick personality.
Now, the real dick move is that the team didn't bother manning up and actually clarifying to Phantom that they were sticking to this decision, so they're literally about to sit down and play when they finally tell him they're not using him.
Frankly, I think they're all jackoffs for the situation. If Phantom actually was a dick then I understand not wanting to be on a team with him. This, however, is something you would know long before going out and finding a sponsor and attending a live event. If you have personality issues, then you deal with it well before that time. Further, you don't act like little whiny bitches and refuse to talk to your teammate. "We couldn't find a good time to tell him." Man up.
You expect too much from kids(I don't even know their age, but they act like kids so ya). Takashi and Tree have been part of a ton of LoL drama involving little bitch behavior, and they always go public to the general forums with a PR like response to save face, making people think they're really nice dudes... and then they go do something else and repeat the cycle. Eski and Taka are pretty nice dudes IRL, and idk who wouldn't try to present their side of the story after the other party makes a public statement against you.
They are also 21 and I consider them, and rest of v8 as kids (rest of v8 younger for the most part afaik), mostly based on me being 21 and I consider myself a kid when it comes to important decisions. Even for a "kid" it's pretty big of Eski to pretty much take all the flak for what was a unanimous team decision.
The IPL loss wasn't really attributed to Plord, but their extremely limited selection of team strategies was. There is clearly something wrong if they couldn't have a productive team discussion before IEM, and that problem is not necessarily that everyone except phantom is a "little whiny bitch." Regardless, it looks like the drama is resolved, even if not everyone is happy about it.

Drama has always been a part of Esports just as much as any other major sport. Like it, or not it's still a big part of why people watch.

80% attack speed bonus on his dash is uh... pretty surreal. And that aoe... haha.

Wow. that blitzcrank skin is so awesome. I am considering getting blitzcrank + the skin. I'll probably try to get him asap (have 2,2k ip right now) and if I like him, I'll get the skin.
How viable is Blitz atm? I know Snoopeh jungles him with great success, but I am not used to playing jungle. Probably not that easy to learn jungle with Blitz.

Oh wow, I just looked at Grave's stats.
Q has .8 AD scaling on 8sec cd at max rank. His E is a flat 50 mana. His ult has 1.4 AD scaling on the single target, and 1.2 on subsequent targets on a 1min cd at max rank. Also some of the best starting stats of any AD carry (410 hp, 15 armor, 51 damage, 300 mana).

blitz is extremely strong in solo queue... not sure he's actually good to play though, people will insist you run as support and he's really not a very good support at all. It's practically impossible to get the double stun lane these days, nobody wants to try different stuff lol

Blitz isn't good as support only because he needs some farm.
