Riot is flying them from Colonge to Raleigh.

Great move MLG, LoL is fun to watch, hope it goes well for you.
LOL is all I have to say!

Like others, I'm not too sure about the best of 7 thing. A 7 game series could last 4+ hours. They really need to look at that.
Just started playing LoL too for fun abit casual, it's great my first serious dota like game
A bo7 sounds insane for this game
The more the merrier I say
Hats off to MLG and Riot
Again, its a bo7 extended series, lets say Team A wins 2-1 over team B, they only need to win 2 before the other team wins 3, It's basically another bo3 with a chance at an extra game possibly two if one team is up 2-0, but chances are that team will take 2 before an extra game occurs, not as insane as people think.

Gotta love the LoL! Good stuff, hopefully they will add more teams and up the prizes for the next MLG
edit: Also, I think that LoL is pretty fun to watch.
Only 4 teams (20 people?) yet a bigger prize pool than SC2 already.
Hope people watch it and enjoy it. I'll probably have it open a bit, if there aren't any super-epic SC2 matches going down.
maybe people will play a bit more agressive and start to break up the passive farmfest we have seen in recent tournaments with BO1 or BO3.
Hmmm, interesting. This midseason addition reminds me a lot of how they introduced sc2 last year. Looks like they're considering it seriously. How are the viewer/vistor/competitor numbers for halo and black ops? Seems to me mlg cant really fully support 4 games. So if LoL does well... i'd imagine black ops is done for next season?
tbh i dunno much about lol, but i'd love to see some sf4. Maybe an evo qualifier or something smallish?

i hate lol, dota 2 so close, even hon's way better.

Yea, I mean I understand a higher prize pool for a team game, but when you also factor in that SC2 attracts a 256-player open bracket plus groups we're comparing ~276 players and 14K vs 20 players and 20K.

Good pick up by MLG. Growing E-sports cannot be done alone by one game, we need to band together to make it work.
Would totally love it if MLG picks up Super Street Fighter IV as well.
It's great to see LoL at MLG, hoping that these teams will produce some quality games, I wonder how the streams are gonna handle the possible amount of LoL viewers on top of the number that SC2 has.
riot is probably paying for everything, so don't freak out about the prize pool
I hope HotShot is gonna be playing Nidalee
idk Why people keep mentioning HoN LOL with 15 million players compare to HoN's 500,000? OFC LOL is the obvious pick between the two. TSM fighting!! Love playing Sc2 and LOL so this is a good news
