I like how Riot employees that watch a stream just randomly decide to ban the streamers account if they dont like what they see.

Apparently it was only for 3 days, so I think it's more reasonable now that I know all the details.

its still a bit of a douche move to not just ay something when he announced it.

I still agree; the Reds must've seen or head about TSM's events and should have warned him. At the very least I think they could've just told him to stop doing what he was on stream before banning him.

Oh well, what's done is done. It's a good thing he wasn't permabanned.. that would truly suck.

I have this issue too, I can't move though, I can look around, but my champion freezes in place, then game will come back randomly at some later point in time.

Idk what causes it

While I can imagine how ghey if Vlad's Q proc'ed Rylai's slow, his should otherwise it's an unfair exclusion. Best argument is that if Akali's Q can slow, so should Vlad's. Neither Q is mana based and both have relatively short cooldowns (compared to Annie/Veigar from example above).

An argument I can think against this is:

1. Rylais is super keen on Vlad because it allows him to double dip his passive
2. Akali's is energy based while vlad's is... stupid-and-free based (vlad can CDR while akali can't)
3. Akali's Q only does half the damage which leads me to the next point
4. Akali is melee (and is at much higher risk to proc full damage Q)
5. Vlad's Q heals him (well, for a ton more than akali's)

edit: Oh, and vlad pools>akali shroud

Conclusion: Vlad's a jerk and deserves this for tormenting me those 3 months he was OP.

Agreed that Vlad is a jerk but having a champion's skill not work "properly" with an item out of exception seems a bit arbitrary. Not sure how much I like that kind of balancing. Seems like a design flaw otherwise.

Also, Kennen also procs slow with his Q too. His is longer range than Akali's and shorter CD iirc.

Cassiopeia E also gets the AoE slow from Rylai, unless that got changed since I last saw this brought up.

So Vlad Q isn't completely unique....

As part of TSM's "giving back to the community" events, Reginald was going to help some low-elo accounts get their elo up and in that process explain via livestream tactics and how to get through that ELO.

Apparently he didn't use his own accounts, so Riot banned him without notice. And they banned the account he was helping, too I believe.

Better keep ELO Welfare a secret then... =/

Edit: And can the heal part of Vlad's Q consider him a "target" and thus making Q a "multi-target" spell for Rylai's? That's the only explanation I can come up with.

That is a pretty ridiculous move by Riot.

What? AOE spells still proc Rylai's, just the slow duration is much shorter. Vlad's E works with Rylai's, Q doesn't.

Unless it's been changed, Vlad gets the AoE slow from Rylai's on his Q, even though it's a single-target spell. It's not like he gets nothing....

He does, but it was due to low cooldown. Cass' Twin Fang only procs the aoe slow also due to having essentially no cooldown on a poisoned target. It was an exception that I think they overlooked reverting when they nerfed his cooldown.

IIRC Karthus gets the non-AoE slow on his Q at all times (lol); Riot decided to special-case Vlad and Cass because they wanted to, I don't think you can really argue that their reasoning makes any sense based on the way Rylai's works with other spells with similar or shorter cooldowns.

I'd complain about how stupid the Rylais thing is but then I remembered that there's a few heroes in DotA that aren't even allowed to use blink dagger. That's more extreme, yet perfectly accepted.

You gotta do what you gotta do, in the name of balance.

Which they did, but that was before the nerf. Now their reasoning no longer holds up so they should fix it.

How dumb is that.... We all know that it's in their EULA not to have more than one account but everyone and their mom has a smurf. Why not ban HS and jiji too then, or call them out instead of saying on stream "we tend to close an eye on that".

I'm pretty sure it wasnt his smurf, it was other people's accounts.
I can understand why Riot would do that, that's a dumb thing for reginald to do and i support riot in their decision here.

If they let him do that, what's to stop people from buying ELO from other better players or even accounts? we all know that sales of digital accounts are always frowned upon by the game makers.

didn't hotshot get that other account to #2 elo when his current account (actual hotshotgg) was #1? how's that different?
wish i could remember that name of the other account, but he was playing it for him while he was on vacation or something

What happened?

As part of TSM's "giving back to the community" events, Reginald was going to help some low-elo accounts get their elo up and in that process explain via livestream tactics and how to get through that ELO.

Apparently he didn't use his own accounts, so Riot banned him without notice. And they banned the account he was helping, too I believe.

If they let him do that, what's to stop people from buying ELO from other better players or even accounts? we all know that sales of digital accounts are always frowned upon by the game makers.

didn't hotshot get that other account to #2 elo when his current account (actual hotshotgg) was #1? how's that different?
wish i could remember that name of the other account, but he was playing it for him while he was on vacation or something
edit: kakasoul?

yeah, now it's King of Kimchi
I don't think having a second account is breaking the ToS..

i dont think having a second account is either, but it wasn't his account, he said he was playing it for someone else while he was on vacation, which is same thing imoimo

Having a second account is fine, but I think account sharing is against the ToS.
