Well I was 1460 elo with like 29-13, now I'm 1350 elo with like 39-34, I dont think I became worse...
EDIT: I also get pretty good scores in normal and there never are that kind of lanepwns. But every single ranked game every single teammate is completely brainless. I don't get it
EDIT2: Well that's possible I guess, but these games I've had recently feel just completely hopeless and I don't get why I do much better in normal games although my normal elo is supposedly like 1800.

if you flip a coin a few times its quite possible to end up 29-13 only to end up 39-34 later.

Well there also is the issue that my friend with whom I'd say I'm pretty equal and we premade normals alot and both do similiarly and carry as often, he's 1750 elo so o_O Sighity sigh.
Maybe I just need to flip the coin abit more

Score /= carry. If he is 1750, it means he knows how to win, not score well.

hi, i routinely beat locodoco on a daily basis (4-9 vs. 1-9 as xin zhao, 9-11 vs. 3-11 as veigar, kk loco) and im not 2400, surprise surprise. Its not about being good in normals because nobody tryhards in normals except people who can't win ranked. Actually I dont tryhard in ranked either but thats not the point, lawl. People in different elo brackets may be of similar skill. But if you're stuck in an elo its not because everybody else is bad its because you are unable to carry yourself out (hence bads being mad)

So, I know a few of the regulars in LP have played one or two games with me on their team. Can you guys give me any criticism on my ability to play Galio? I know i am a noob, I just want to know what to improve on.

I'm bored so I shall tell a low ELO story:
So, I'm playing on my friends account, musta be like 1280 elo at the time, I pick sion and my team pick shen, zilean, mokai and sivir with the glorious idea of 3 way swapping. But, what's that!?! It's riot's brilliant client messing up and none of my team swap. Now, they instantly begin to QQ saying about wrong runes and masteries and shen and sivir say they've never played their champ before (shen was free lol). Shen dcs at the start too, and comes back lvl 1 when everyone is like lvl 5. He then goes 0-3. Can't remember too much more apart from I just raped everything with sion mid with boots of mobility. My team did fuck all without me though, 5 kills without me. :D
Thing with lower ELO is you can QQ about your team being bad, but rest assured so is the other team. You're never gonna get anywhere if you are just like "oh my team sucks, I can't carry them". And yes, this has been said 1000 times before.

That's the way ranked works. You have to carry 4 idiots against a team of 5 idiots. If you don't like it, then don't play ranked.

Okay I managed to somehow win a ranked game. We had 2 megaidiots but we had amazing amumu and shen who went 6-1-15 both and so we won. I went 8-1-13 but I assure you I wouldn't have been able to carry if the shen and amumu weren't so good. Our bottom lane was completely retarded(ashe going to farm when we have baron and are trying to push, when we ace them ashe goes get lizard instead of getting inhibitor etc and they both had awful stats)
Opponent team had a feeding mordekaiser that had been in my team the game before, but someone left the game so we got rematched. Would have been yet another loss without that queue dodger.
EDIT: Btw its a lot more difficult at this elo since you can literally have 1300 elo players that have 1200 ranked games played and are godawful, or you can have a 1300 elo player with 5 ranked games played that's really good but hasn't played enough ranked etc. Also difference between 50 win 1300 and 500 win 1300 is gigantic as well, and the MMR rates them the same.

Sadly enough. Every time I approach 1500, like 1497 and such crap, I end up with a afk/dc and subsequently lose. Then I go on tilt and lose a couple more games some more before I start winning and approachign 1500 again. The repeat. :[

You can change your resolution in the ingame options. You can't zoom out any further though.
