- This week a new balance patch was deployed into the game focused on very specific problems Blizzard has detected on some Heroes. Notably, Lunara finally received her much awaited buff in the form of a health and damage increase. Raynor wasn’t so lucky this patch though, as he received various nerfs to his health and talents. Tyrande has been a problematic Hero since the scaling changes went into effect three months ago and has now finally been adjusted a bit. Other Heroes such as Stiches and Brightwing also received some minor changes too.
- After teasing new Hero reveals for a couple of days, Blizzard finally announced the next two Heroes that are warping into the Nexus. The first one, Li-Ming, is the Diablo III Wizard. Focusing on arcane magic, this powerful Assassin will be able to deal massive amounts of damage and be more rewarding the more skilled you are. It’s mentioned she will be one of the highest skill cap Heroes the game has seen yet. The second Hero is Xul, the Diablo II Necromancer. As a melee Specialist, Xul will be able to summon skeletons and curse his enemies. He will particularly excel at dealing with bruisers.

- After the Tyrande nerfs, Hotslogs owner analyzed the data of the games uploaded to the service to see it’s impact. He was quite happy with the result.
- In the past days it was found that sometimes the Core could hit the catapults, and players were concerned this would give an unfair advantage to one team over another. As it turn out, this only happens rarely under very specific circumstances, and it doesn’t affect the balance of the match at all.
