this is how every game against hunter goes and i play hunters the majority of the time. the earliest i die is turn 6, i don't think i've ever made it to 9. what i hate most is that he's arguably in a bad spot but that doesn't matter because all his stuff costs 1 mana and it's a 1shot anyways. does anybody have any tips? i'm stuck at diamond 3.
You don't seem to have many pumps or removal. You had a hand full of creatures, and were attacking a wide-open hero the entire game. Now, I play an OTK deck (WinFury combos!), but if I get to attack into an open hero I make sure I do a LOT of damage. Also, you have nothing with taunt to shut that down. Even with that crazy combo he has, a tazdingo with +4/+4 would have been real nice to have.
I played against a Pally once who was playing a pure Taunt/pump deck, with Wrath and Consecration for removal. It was a very strong deck- I just couldn't get through his fatties, and he wiped out my combo with a Consecrate.
that's pretty much this deck with the exception of taunt. it's does well against everything else but i'm like 1-7 against hunters.
Okay, i might be completely wrong here, but your deck basically has no midgame. You have a bunch of support 2s and 3s that should get outtraded by a aggro deck and not do enough vs a control deck. I think in most of your matches you cross your fingers and pray to get to 6 mana to start playing your bigger ones but then you sill need the next turn, cause you would need a protector or peacekeeper to get value out of it. You need 2 taz-dingo or fencreeper badly.

and you're completely wrong here
most of them arent that strong (i played only duel of champions but legendary spells there are so bullshit that if u dont have them yourself your chance for win is minimal) the only problem with legendarys i have is the fact its so much arena grind to get 1. 6k dust .....
i honestly think taunt is useless. all it does is it forces you to trade. however, you need to trade anyways because else you're giving the other guy an opportunity to trade up through synergies and you may just be outrushed yourself. and if that's true, then it's way better to get more stats/better effects for your mana because those cards can trade up more easily and rush better.

taunt is a must have in some matchups like vs marlocks, the thing is a lot of taunts suck like 3/3 or 2/2 whats the point of that if it dies to any 2/3 drop anyway, senjin is an example of good taunt for 4mana u can stop almost any 2-4 drop and trade favourably with most of them

yeti does all that and has better stats. dark iron does all that and helps your other stuff trade up. true silver is way better, consecreate is way better.
on an unrelated note, why does priest get to heal 2 for 2 mana? that's so dumb, why isn't it 1 heal for 2 mana? or 2 heal for 2 mana but only on self?

I've already made my point on this particular card on the previous page. You have to think more horizontally when it comes to this card. Understand that most if not ALL priest decks on ladder WILL be running this card. Find ways to get them to play them on things that are LESS likely to matter. Play lots of aggression on turn 5-6-7 so that you have the board control when it gets to that pivotal turn 8.

mind control is bullshit because it gives him huge card advantage (like it wasnt already easy to draw cards for prist) he has insane board clear and shit ton of cheap hard removal (4dmg being the point blank) mind control easily lets him trade 1 card for 2 or even 3 on top of that he gets thoughts steal and heal which makes him strongest late game hero, if u want beat priest its only with some kind of lame rush or ur fighting uphill battle
Since Mage is already lvl 10 I picked shaman... so far I have 6 7 losses in a row with the standard deck.... Either I have no worthwhile minions, or I have no removal spells.. and I don't seem to get ANY card draw at all...

For me taunt is for keeping my minions alive I don't want to die. It also helps immensely when you can't trade favorably with what is on the board as it can buy you another turn. Yeah, they can silence/execute/fireball etc it, but that is kinda the whole point you want to force them to use those cards.

The Shaman deck is so bad it's almost laughable... it's the only basic deck I can't consistently win with, the others are at least well rounded enough to play against decent decks (as long as you figure out the playstyle that deck is based around, like Rogue is rush-down at all costs).
Speaking of Shaman, I think Overcharge is legit a really dumb mechanic. I mean sure, I get the idea of paying later for power now, but the amount it screws you over is oftentimes more than the benefit is worth. Mana Crystals are the most valuable commodity imo.
i don't get the mind control hate, it's just 2 8 drops in his deck. how bout never playing something you can't kill the next turn? their fucking heal is so much worse.
Overpower is definitely tricky, but early to mid game having extra power now can be quite strong (first turn advantage, coin hate ect).
Late game, when you're starting to run down your hand size, then you probably can't use all your mana crystals next turn anyways. Overload lets you front-load your cards and hope to draw something nice.
Then again I might be colored because I opened a game with dust devil, coin+shock, rockbiter + flametongue totem for 22 total damage by turn 3.
Also the Earth Elemental is amazing to drop turn 5, outside of assassinate there's nothing that can deal with it that early. Sure only have 3 mana turn 6 kinda sucks, but still, that early it's going to trade quite efficiently and/or deal lots of damage.

It's not JUST mc. It's the entire Priest deck in general. The cleric, SWP, SWD... it's disgusting faceroll bullshit.
