i don't even know the original quotes so there is no way I can solve any of these unless i just attempt to retranslate the passages a few times. put more scientific or historical stuff in there instead of pop literature or music. Maybe something like "an object in motion tends to stay in motion, ....."
good thread idea though

#2 + Show Spoiler +Wikipedia entry for Anime? This part? Angry women will sometimes summon a mallet from nowhere and strike someone with it, leading to the concept of Hammerspace and cartoon physics. Male characters will develop a bloody nose around their female love interests (typically to indicate arousal, based on an old wives' tale).

+ Show Spoiler +I came up with General Chang's speach during Star Trek VI for #1, which I guess is close considering he was quoting that passage of Shakespear :p I'm just more familiar with it in a Star Trek context since I haven't read the full Shakespear play.

Answers are up for set 1! Expect set 2 in about an hour.
Also, if, in the wikipedia article on, say, leopards, the result comes out as "leopards big cat the spotted like tropical", I'll replace "leopards" with "[answer]" so people don't know it immediately.
