Completely ludicrous. IMO, it's better sportsmanship to have the opposing team continuing to play as hard as they can instead of teams just fucking around with you at the end of games

That's true, and also the fact that THERE ARE NO SHOT CLOCKS in high school basketball, which means that the teams can theoretically hold the ball as long as they want. And the good team just kept shooting which isn't a bad idea instead of going aggressive and trying to drive in. It just so happened that the 3 pointers and other shots went in.

Man, that's bullshit. THis isn't rec ball--the coach has a paid job. His goal is to win. Do you expect to tell your subs, who might never actually get real game time, to tell them to sit back?

Mercy rules should only be applied in recreation sports, not in a competitive environment. Absolutely ridiculopus

If i read him correctly I will try to make an analogy out of it.

Lets say you were raping some newbies on east...You just played your foe 3 times and he wants another shot. So you give him another chance on playing against you for the 4th time and what you do is cheese him to the point that he has nothing but 1 worker left and you leave his base so he can have yet another chance at rebuilding. What you end up doing is nuking the guy before the guy even gets out of his base......Hope you understand.

Yeah, but he didn't actually put his subs in UNTIL the 4th quarter. And they only scored like 12 of the 100 points.

That and the full court press thing.

Not that I agree with what happened to the coach at all. "Letting up", "taking it easy", etc. is gay.

Yo mr know it all....Think about it...If your starting line up is raking up points against a poor team doesn't mean they get better...There egos raise and you think you a big shot.
