Well, I dont post often but here is my cat charlie
![[image loading]](http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/6205/photo3bez.jpg)
One day we opened the door and he just walked right into our house and made himself at home. He's such a sweet cat. Often times he wakes me up by kneading my hair, or purring obnoxiously loud in my ears.
And this is my Rottweiler, Wellington (not my name, but it stuck). He's been such a great dog over the years. We got him when I was 7, my brother and I went over to our neighbor's house whose Rottweiliers had puppies and we brought him back home. Recently his health has been declining and its only a matter of time until he passes away, but I will always remember him. He's such a kind, and loving dog.

Despite his age (12), he still has those puppy eyes

I used to have a sugar glider named Caesar, and yes, they are fairly easy to care for. They generally just eat fruit.

My bird, Kiwi:

She's a Pacific Parrotlet (aka just like a parrot, but miniature, and its a little rarer for them to talk, with voices more high pitched and robot-like). Kiwi doesn't talk, but she's still silly :D

My pet Chihuahua Hardy to the left and my cousin's I-don't-know-what to the right

![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/pa6cd.jpg) This is me with one of my gf's uncles dogs. I think its a samoyed, he has 2 of them and they are awesomely friendly. He also has a bunch of other pets but I'm such a sucker for big fluffy dogs.

Nutter Butters, one of my two cats. The other is a short-haired Russian Blue named Sully.
Anyway, 5 years ago we found Nutters in the woods behind our house, under an old chair, with his siblings. There was probably 7 or 8 of them but a few were dead when we got there. His mother drowned in our pool when we took the cover off so we took in Nutters, a grey male, and a black colored female. The male died the next day and we had to put the female down a few days later; it had an eye infection and it's eye was swollen to 3 or 4 times it's normal size.
Ironicly, Nutters was the cat that was meowing the loudest when we found him, now he doesn't do it at all.
Edit: He's a fatass who weighs 19 pounds.

I'm actually curious as well but goddammit its illegal in Western Australia to own one >_> Stupid Victoria, SA and northern territory get to have them.

I've heard Sugar Gliders are horrible pets. A friend of mine had one for awhile, and while I never held it myself, he said it (1) barked all night long every single night (they're nocturnal), (2) peed all over anyone it landed on, and (3) bit him often without any warning.
Keep in mind that is all just what I heard from one person though. I've seen videos of them jumping around and chilling out and they look cool as hell. I actually still really want one lol.

I'm glad this thread got necroed. Back in 08 I didn't have any pets, but since then I've gotten these two mutts from the pound:
![[image loading]](http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu216/squizzot/jacksonindie-bed.jpg)
The brown one is Jackson (acquired in 09). The gray one is Indie (acquired this April). Jackson is intelligent and cute, but he uses his smarts for evil and not for good. He's an inveterate food thief. Indie on the other hand is dumb as a box of rocks but very sweet and affectionate and interested in earning the approval of her owners. She's a little weirdly proportioned, though. We'll just say that if someone were setting her up for a blind date they'd say "she's got a great personality."
Despite their differences they're pretty much BFF.

As I said earlier, I used to have one and all of that is true. They do bark at night, they will piss on you and they will bite you. But they are badass.
