As far as they're concerned it's a part of the UK which is rebelling against them. However given they don't have any interests there by far their easiest option is waiting for him to die of old age because it's just not worth dealing with it. What we did in those places is asserted that we owned it. The people living there then asserted they owned it and we fought and killed them. What's happening here is he asserts he owns it, the Government maintains it belongs to them. However unless he declares war on the UK it's really not comparable. | ||
