no everything is biased, it is written by people who have different views, it is read by ppl who have different views. it is biased in lots of ways nothing you can do about it. But main stream newspapers provide a lot more factual evidence that can be easily backed up, just in cases it tends to lend the argument to one side for which ever it is supporting, WHILE still providing facts along with it, and in most cases you can read it and still make up your own mind.
The majority of sources psylo posted are EXTREMELY biased and are already forcing you to accept their point. Notice how they always say their views as statements of fact, that is horrible news reporting, but i still maintain the view that they are not real news sites, most are just a group of ppl with the same view (in this case being far left wing finding conspiracies galore!) who of course are going to jump at anything that looks like supporting, then picking out facts at random that seem to add to it and writing it up as factual reporting when it IS NOT.
and yes... alien one... best not to mention the quality of that news source =]
kk i'm really goign to bed now!
on a side note an aussie runs a lot of the news in america so it can't be biased! NEVER!!! Sif he would listen to crappy american politicians, he reports the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
yeah i didn't see your source, what page is it on, i said i'd only read the first page (read the first 2 now) before i posted my stuff.

it is on the 4th page of this thread and is a book. the news here is so biased it is disguisting, perhaps the most biased out of all these is fox (is Mr. Murdoch an aussie?? ), but i have yet to find an unbiased news source, be it right or left or straight in the center. The news is biased for the exact reason you said it isnt biased, people with a certain view report their findings of that view, they usually do not show the opposing view and if they do it is only to argue against it. Need I remind you that right after 9/11 news programs were showing clips of palestinians and other arabs celebrating in the streets, and then a few days later admitted that the footage shown had nothing to do with 9/11 and that the footage was indeed from before 9/11, who wanted the american people to hate arabs that badly? I find the best way to make an opinion of my own is to read from both sides of the argument and then formulate an opinion.

If you cant see through the bias that is inherent in almost every article ever made, then i would advice you to turn off your tv and comp, and never touch a newspaper again.

As for Iraq, it was a horrible regime of oppression, hated, and violence, which had sought WMD in the past, had used them (gassing of the Kurds), and has possible ties to terrorism. and oil, you forgot that point, iraq has lots of oil we aren't stealing their oil. We are using they money made from it to rebuild their country. You are using their oil to break the opec(wich means cheap oil for america) and restore the dollar to its dominant position. And when thinking in terms of profit, dont narrow your view to americas economy.
LOL " restore the dollar to its dominant position. " LOL I just can't get enough of this line , oh no its too much, really it is. You know its far easier to remove money from your economy to increase the value of your currency than it is to create some psycho super plot to kill alot of people , have a brush fire war, have a second war than milk the country from the second war for not much more than we were already were importing from it.

Just remember BlackJack, that it has been 4 months since the "war" in Iraq was "ended", and the US engineers over there have still not been able to turn on the power in Bagdad. The only people with electricity are those who have enough money for gasoline. In addition, the US was supposed to rebuild Afghanistan as well, but as usual, they have left the work to the International community, and the American populous heres nothing about Afghanistan in the news any more. Rebuilding sounds nice, but it isnt in the manner in which you believe.
Yes, we are purposely taking as long as possible so more of our soldiers can die.

That doesn't mean that we take their oil and in exchange, rebuild their country. Other countries buy oil from Iraq, not just the U.S.

France buys a lot of Iraqi oil. A ton. They get low prices. Of course they didn't want us to go to war with them!

The reason they fell straight down is that the Heat melted the steel holding the building up. There was still a good 20 stories about where the planes hit and all that weight was too much for the melted steel to hold so it just crashed straight down. These buildings did not fall because they were hit by planes or by an explosion. It fell because it couldn't hold itself up.
Please explain to me one more time how the steel got melted if it wasn't the planes... Something underground or something? A bomb?
Btw there was a 15 story hotel about 2 miles or so from where I live, and the blew it up to makme a newer and bigger one. I wasn't aware of the demolition date and I was standing in the atrium in my house and there was a huge rumble and you could almost feel shaking. Imagine 6 times that right at the base of the building.

Psylo's point is that Bush's administration, aswell as Bin Ladens family both gained ALOT through 9/11 and without it, bush wouldnt have had the excuse he needed to go through with many things for even further proof, when bush was giving speeches on why we should invade Iraq he yet AGAIN used 9/11 as an excuse.. clearyly Saddam didnt pull 9/11 yet every flipping sentence bush mentioned on america entering a war with iraq was Terrorist this and 911 that.. its a Documented TACTIC (forgot name) used to have people throw their hate on one subject onto another by drilling the bad memory into their heads while speaking of another thing entirely... can u not tell me such a tactic isnt corrupt?? i mean.. if not even your own president trying to manipulate u phases ur ignorant opinion.. then god knows what will.... you're a moron, he responded like that because their is actual evidence that 9/11 DID hurt the american economy and really had a lot of harm done, why would he put himself in the opposing viewers shoes (the person who supports conspiracy theory) when their is no acutal FACT from a reliable source or by that matter no logical explanation that the US government had a role in this
You my friend are a jackass -_- if u were listening and understood what we were saying, (THE PEOPLE THAT ORDER BUSH AROUND ARE MADMEN)do u really think madmen give a flying fuck about poor people and our economy if their about to gain literrally billions of dollars in oil from iraq in coming months??? if not then stfu if so... then please post why the fuck corrupt officials give a shit about the american populace.. asshole
and BTW -- Most of the people who are anti "conspiracy theory" are AMERICANS which is ultimately very sad because this is exactly what Bush wants.. he knows were oblivious to what the hell he's doing.. COME ON PEOPLE!! and all u fucking morons asking for a credible source once again go to http://www.Infowars.com and fucking READ.. Alex Jones -- The Author of this site is extremely credible and even has VIDEO CLIPS of certain things the government tries to cover up -_- ignorance on this bored is incredible high... sue me for trying to help

That was probably the stupidest post I have ever read. Iraq has been selling us oil for years. There is always so much oil on the world market. If Japan decides to buy oil from Iraq, and not from Iran, than there will be excess oil in Iran and we can buy it over there. The only time gas prices go up is when Oil stops being put into the world market, for example that bs over there in venezuala. We didn't need to go to war with Iraq to get their oil. We didn't need to spend billions. We didn't need to murder thousands of citizens. Or hurt our airlines (not really).
You probably don't know this because the media won't tell you it since 98% of the media is liberal. Try listening to Talk Radio.
So now you have no evidence, self-contradicting links, and no motive. Please continue.

And even if I didn't shoot down the first one, I'd sure as hell shoot down other 3.

wee a good question, ok.. Vice president Cheney before he became vise prez worked at a huge oil company.. when cheney became vice prez the oil company gave this man 40 million dollars, for apperently no reason but after the war with iraq Bush and Cheney made sure that THIS oil company would be the ones who get the job to rebuild iraq.. in a situacion like this normally theres a bid of some sort to see who gets the land.. but no, the deed was casted off to this oil company IMMEDIATLY because all the people there Cheneyes friends & family, since they have the deeds to the oil... there becoming rich, this is why if bush died i'd assume cheney would be just as poor a president as bush

true, if they had engine troubles they were going down anyway lol, and if there radios werent working it could be assumed that terrorists cut the radio links off, and on top of that bush told people not to fly this day or week.. so if a plane was acting up it could be assumed THIS was the terrorist atk he knew about for MONTHS if not years

But what are they doing with that oil they're taking, then? Selling it to where?
