Or is it just cus this is TL, and we're all starcraft/computer lovers, and so tend to have better internet? And I thought Korea was the best in the world, or is there a difference between broadband speed and "internet" in general? | ||

I can for example get 100Mbit + speeds inside my own country but am happy when I get 10Mbit cross-Atlantic. If they take that into account then countries like South Korea faces serious problems in comparisons. | ||

It's not as good as it sounds though, some time in the future they must have developed the capability to use holographic 3d monitors, so lets just say the screens don't render too well on my CRT. | ||

Universities are specifically setup to have ridiculous internet, and it helps that everyone is geographically clustered together on campus. When you have commercial providers, and they have miles upon miles upon miles of feeder lines running all over the place through towns and cities, it will definitely make a difference. Universities are always going to get insane results. I'm more curious about how various commercial companies perform against each other (in my case, specifically for the USA - I'm happy to see my company has most of the highest results). | ||
