Measured right now U/D 75/54 Mbit/s, the actuall speed depends mainly on the routing in the building, ethernet overhead and whatnot. From the building, there is a 10Gb/s link (for about 1000 people, but technically, that is still way enough) , but the ethernet inside is only 100Mbit. 4 Euros/month. And the ping, ohh the ping! Go academic networks!

However, on campus, depending on the area, whether I'm wired or not, and in the case of wireless, how many people are in the building, I can get anywhere from 60 mb/s down/25 up to 250 down/60 up. Gotta love being able to download a DVD in about five minutes :D

Luckily you only need lowish ping to battlenet to play SC2, not much traffic goes through afaik, so lower down speeds are fine for SC2, can't say the same about downloading other stuff though (:

In theory it is 100/10, but as you can see you never really get what they promise. Still not bad though . And it costs 34 euros per month.

Have to love student prices <3 (though you're dirt fucking poor otherwise as a student, but I'd rather not mention that).

That's not a surprise when you're sharing a line with a few hundred or thousand people.
