And yes the first "him", which should've been "they" was about GH, everything else was about the Ukranian Nazi. Also, I understand they're tiring to discuss with. Partly due to the fact they view everything through the lens of them being correct while we're just talking from priviliged power structures and only being false allies because anything we ever want is status quo instead of fighting for a truly more equal society, but meh. I'm not an activist, I'm a pragmatist. Don't have the energy for that shit. I'll be happy to carry GH on my hands or erect a statue in their honor if they get to an equalizing point through the points they've so eloborately went through over and over Yeah tbh I read billyboy (correctly) using GH a lot and was reminded. I'm with you on not being excited on round 50 of gang-up-on-GH, and certainly part of the problem is everyone getting in their own way / ego battles. It's been suggested before that everyone talking about GH is 'What GH wants' so if you (collectively) don't like GH and think that's what GH wants, then don't give it to them. I also have about as much motivation and energy for activism as I'm currently using, and am secure in that. Could I do more? Certainly, but that's never not going to be true. There's a whole lot of privilege and comfort I could sacrifice for 'the good of the world' but the only ones who can decide if it was enough are history and myself.

If I see that, you can bet your sweet ass that I'll call them out. I also can't stand people who lack any actual understanding of history and how people and countries respond to war as someone who was raised in a war torn country. With that being said, since they are obviously incapable of growth and I doubt I'll learn or read anything new or interesting coming from that person, I'll add them to my blocklist along with the other 2 ends of the horseshoe, oBlade and dhyb.

I also really dislike when people attack others for calling that kind of disgusting behavior out but have nothing to say about said disgusting behavior. + Show Spoiler + If I see that, you can bet your sweet ass that I'll call them out. But you notably can stand neonazis that hang out with another known neonazi fighting with Azov call innocent gay people "parasites for Ukraine". You "don't fucking care" when you see them get praised by millions around the world because of Western propaganda that presents a neonazi as a hero while inexplicably passively showing nazi propaganda patches (that would get him arrested in Germany iiuc) uncritically, without comment or context. If you want to say that my criticism of a nazi was a bit unnecessarily ableist (for the amusement of the alliteration), I would accept that critique and apologize.

The fact that he lost his limbs fighting a country which has literal concentration camps for gay people doesn't matter, because communist twitter and black radical tradition told GH that he is a bigger piece of shit for being in a wheelchair next to a guy who said a bad thing. Mind you, Ukraine has gay Pride these moron Nazis can protest, but this guy is here calling disabled people nuggets because he finds it amusing and justifiable as they were pictured next to someone who insulted these people.

We’re advocating for the Nazis to fight and die killing other Nazis and you’re presenting it as if this is a pro Nazi thing. When two Nazis fight I cheer for the bullets.

When two Nazis fight I cheer for the bullets. There's a variety of things being said/advocated... but my point on the "what could possibly go wrong with advocating making heroes out of nazis fighting other nazis" isn't that it is pro nazi. It was this: On November 03 2026 23:30 GreenHorizons wrote: Well, part of the problem is you can end up with another Stepan Bandera type figure that exploits that experience for political leverage. This is also a common refrain for the US specifically where we arm far right reactionaries against a geopolitical competitor and they eventually turn the weapons inward/on their neighbors and we either keep supporting their pretty predictable fascist heel turn or we just abandon the people and pretend we had nothing to do with it/it's not our problem (or occasionally engage in more doomed adventurism). That's not to say this isn't the time that calculation is right, but it is important to recognize the reality of how this typically works out historically so as not to cavalierly believe it can't possibly lead to undesirable outcomes (even if Ukraine ultimately wins outright).
