It also rates a ukrainian victory even lower, and all the russian favoured/unfavoured for ukraine outcomes are rated much higher than the ones we would like to see, so either you take it at face value and its bad, or discard it. If I were to take it at face value, a russian victory only being at 7% doesn't really make me feel any better when there are plenty other bad options with higher probabilities. But the report AI generated thing alone is not enough to completely discard it imo. It wouldn't be the first case of someone/a company paying an agency or someone for an assessment or a report and it ends up being mostly AI generated. Maybe its fake, maybe its AI garbage, maybe its AI written but with human supervision/fact check.

Imagine the pressure of creating a document like this to begin with, but now you know you sending it to a guy who has a habit of making people fall out of windows if they deliver bad news. That feels like a mix of coping and grasping at straws. Its a internal memo, not going "russia stronk, 100% win ezpz" is not something surprising there, at least not to anyone who doesn't see russia as some comically evil cartoon villain.

With seemly no understanding of what is common in Russian politics but extreme confidence in your feels. There was nothing to engage with when you are just head cannoning. Projecting much? My response was at worst of the same "quality" as your initial one, but ofc yours isn't just feels based because you know you are right. Seriously, how is what you said any different from my post? Apart from yours being demonstrably wrong, the pentagon file leaks contained leaks of the FSB directly accusing the MOD of underreporting losses, falsifying success reports. We had the whole Schoigu/Prigoschin spat that included leaked, but at the end also very public criticism of the russian military and their war winning prospects. We basically got a full soap opera of shit flinging there, and before you go "haha, see and prigoschin got killed", I would like to remind you that between that shit flinging and his death there was a lot of time during which small hiccups like their little road trip to moscow happened, which probably had more of an impact on his demise. There are some other leaks I remember from the MOD about manpower shortage and other stuff, but could not find a source on a single google and I am not spending any more effort before I get the feeling that its even worth to try to bring actual facts to the table. You can ofc cling to your idea of russia as the comically evil and equally incompetent cartoon villain and pretend that you are doing more than just saying stuff based on your feelings, just like I would say people start to fall out windows when they publicly go against the propaganda narrative too hard, or otherwise threaten putin, like with prigoschin.

You have some feels and a line about Russia being comically evil to lean back on. And for the record, Russian lead ship is comic book evil. They put out drone videos of them blasting people on bikes and taking out public busses (human safari). June was the record for civilian deaths, July broke that, and it is very likely when the numbers come in August will break that. They do send lots of people out of windows and send a bunch to prison if they at all disagree, or just need a distraction. Your view on them is wacky, not mine. Edit: wrote this before your ninja edit, not re reading.

I have never seen Putin so irritated before, like he can't even sit proper. Either he is high off some drugs, or he is really so tensed up all the time that he can't relax anymore.

It is common knowledge that the Russian system lies upward with overly positive information. Even the Russian war bloggers complain about it. Pretty much already adressed in my response, even before the edit, but sure I bite since this is getting even stupider. Yes the russian system lies upwards, has been addressed many times, even internally. The reasons for that are multi faceted and very far away from (just) the incredibly reductive "oh they lie so they don't fall out of windows". And your comment on the milbloggers kinda flies into the face of your own claim that the sberbank memo would be so dangerous to create (and even if its real, I see no claims that it was anything but an internal memo, nothing addressed at putin). Ofc you ignored all the other times I mentioned where something like this happened or the leaks that show these views being voiced internally that would be a problem for your claim. When you put a perun video on in the background, maybe actually listen to it instead of just remembering the funny bits that are exaggerated for comedic effect. There is some really good, measured stuff in there. It feels more like you mostly engage with the social media and meme side of the "analysis" of this war. Comically evil to me is when people act as if russia does shit just because they are evil for evils sake. But they don't, there is a purpose to it. That is no excuse or defence for it, I think my views on russia are quite alright (go back like 4 or 5 posts from me in this thread and you will stumble across me saying things like the russian war crimes being inseparable from their military and government as a whole and reflective of them for example). Edit: wrote this before your ninja edit, not re reading. Unfortunate, a 2nd read could have really helped since you apparently missed so much on the first read already.
