I'm happy that Ukrainians managed to strike a significant blow to the Russian machine but the environmental impact on that will be massive. For the environment, it doesn't really matter overall if the oil burns now in Russia or later somewhere else in a car or power plant. You may have some local effects, but globally it is all the same. And if you don't want local effects from your stuff burning, maybe don't invade other countries.

Either way, what Ukraine is doing is necessary for their survival as a country. All blame is on Russia. These are valid military targets.

I think this may be worse than if it were burned in an internal combustion engine. Either way, what Ukraine is doing is necessary for their survival as a country. All blame is on Russia. These are valid military targets. It's not just a question of burning. Whole coastline is covered in oil and mazut, it's leaking kilometers out into the sea and into the local rivers. They even have oil in the rain...

Regardless of who drops the bomb, drives the tank , flys the jet or whatever. The blame for all this rests squarely on Russian leaderships shoulders.

They need to be reminded ukraine can do damage directly and they can't be allowed to only think about the front line. I have also just learnt Taiwan is now a major supply chain for ukraine drones, both in chips and drones, while russia is heavily dependent on China. Good thing is the US has production capability domestically through TSM local factory , even though it's producing even more advanced 4nm chips than 6nm currently used in war. I am just concerned how advanced Chinese drones are, russia is using mostly commercial level Chinese chips, and china is no doubt quite ahead in mass producing complex machine parts
