Anyway, this is completely unrelated, but there's an HG wells story called The Food of the Gods about people who figure out a miracle baby food that lets people grow to be like 20 feet tall. Of course they are, South Korea is the most financially well off of all the asian countries- well, to be honest, I guess Japan would take that, but in general, the more prosperous the country you live in, the taller you will be. Nonetheless, I think its just genetics that make Asians shorter, even in Canada, its very rare to see an Asian who's above, say, 5'8. Though I have seen it once or twice. rofl, I see 6'0 asians very much in the states
I agree. Two of my closest friends(chinese) are 6'2'' and 6'4'' respectively. I'm about 5'10''... I feel short even in my household since my father is 6'0'' and my sister is 5'9''.

You should try to find a source people are more likely to believe.
Many will say "hey, this is peta's website - and discount anything it says".

get laid as often as you can.... lol
it works for me since im 5'4" when i was 14
im 5'11" now and im 18
|
I was roughly 6'1" ~15 and growing up i've had lack of stress.. somewhat constant milk/healthy diet consumption and plenty of sleep and plenty of excercise
it's been 2 years now and im STILL 6'1" and i've had a surplus of stress.. i don't remember the last time i drank 3 cups of milk in one day nor remember the last time i had time for 8 + hours of sleep; disregarding the times i pass out for 12 hours on weekends... and i excercise at least once a week.. not enough im guessing
So ... 1.sleep 2. good health in general 3. no stress 4. exercise 5. Don't lift weights/ drink excess amounts of caffeine/ coffee ? just speculation

But we all know there is only one way to truly grow tall. You need to go to college, and get into the cybernetics field. Then in about 30 years, you will be one of the top researchers, and have access to new, yet secret, technologies.
At that point, it is simply a matter of furthering your research with "human trials", namely on yourself.

Well, I dont really care if they believe me or not. It's up to them, I just put here the first site I found about the subject. If anyone drinks milk (or plans to) but is also interested in his/her own HEALTH, I guess that link is enough convincing to at least motivate them to do a bit more research by themselves. WHich was what my post was meant for (and who the heck is peta btw?).

well, if PETA wasn't so batshit fucking crazy, they'd probably be a better source of information

You guys still talk about this milk shit? Drinking milk doesnt mean shit, and I dont reallt think there's alot you can do to grow taller. I've been drinking alot of milk every day since I was a child, and I'm only 175cm, and I'm 23 years old,

It's pure genetics, unless you're seriously malnourished. You can now close the topic.

Well that doesn't necessarily mean that what it says about the effects of milk are true or not. I really don't care about cows and their vanity either...

Ok I had no idea PETA is bullshit as you guys say. There are plenty other sources that reach the same conclusion (that cow milk is bad for your health). Here are some examples.
http://www.notmilk.com/kradjian.html
http://www.rense.com/general26/truth.htm
Again, I don't know whether these sites are lying or not, but I can assure you that there are a lot of people that don't drink milk because they know it's bad, it's not just a stupid conspiracy.
I'm not saying you can't drink any milk, all Im doing is warning the OP because many are recommending him to drink a lot of milk, which can really be unhealthy on the long run.
Just do whatever you want

both of those sites look pretty sketchy
milk is good for you
that's not some ancient dairy myth perpetuated by the Knights Templar or the Freemasons or something, it's the truth

Ok you, sir, lack of total sense of argumentation.

milk does certainly not have an effect on growing, the epiphyseal fusion(meaning you reached your maximum height) is hereditary.
And those websites kemoryan posted are absolut bullshit, you find all of these *hormones* contained in milk in a million other things you eat too. if one reasons like that i could also claim that vitamin c or peanuts are deadly. notice how they never use any numbers of how much of this *bad* stuff in milk actually has any negative effect on your health? they just say it does...apart from that its just the usual american demonizing of any kind of fat.
AND most of the population is lactose intolerant even if they don´t know about it, since it only shows up if you drink alot.

good posture can give you a few extra centimetres maybe get a chiropracter to check your back out and do some adjustments if you are that desperate

And you can't get a credible source. PETA certainly isn't, the nomilk is some radom bs website and Rense is a conspiricy theorist. Whoopie.

I'm 16 and 5"11 . I drink alot of milk so that could be why. But I smoke cigarettes and I have bad posture, what i'm saying is it doesn't matter how much milk you drink or how great your posture is. Genetics pretty much decides how tall you are gonna be. (Unless you take growth steroids)
