Considering their policies toward any local Christian population, israel will manage to wipe out a 1500 years of armenian presence of the holy city.

“During this period, Gaza will be rehabilitated, and conditions for self-governance will be created. Egypt will be the central player and oversee the reconstruction, which will further strengthen its economy,” Lapid said. “The external debt of $155 billion does not allow Egypt to rebuild its economy and strengthen its military,” he said. Under Lapid’s plan, Egypt would allow any Gaza resident who wishes to leave and has a place to go to do so in an orderly manner. Egypt would work to prevent arms smuggling into Gaza, destroy tunnels, and eliminate remaining terrorist infrastructure. Lapid said an Egyptian-Israeli-American security mechanism would be established to address immediate threats. According to Lapid’s office, the opposition leader formulated this plan in recent months with the involvement of senior political and security officials and presented it to senior Trump administration officials at the White House and leading senators during his visit to the US. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/politics/government/lapid-s-post-war-plan-leaves-egypt-in-charge-of-gaza-for-15-years/ar-AA1zLajI?ocid=BingNewsSerp

I just found this, Egypt says they are not interested. Egyptian sources speaking to the Saudi outlet al-Hadath said today (Tuesday) that Egypt has no intention to run or govern the Gaza Strip, contrary to the plan presented by Opposition Leader Yair Lapid today in Washington, DC. He pointed to historical precedent: Egypt controlled Gaza from 1948 to 1967 under Arab League backing, acting as a temporary custodian for Palestinians. “This is what needs to happen again today,” Lapid argued. https://www.jfeed.com/news-israel/ss99q1

This one is a extremely complex plan for a complex solution that maybe would have a chance of working but no chance of actually being done because no one wants to have control of Gaza as it is right now.

Guardian Syria Closing summary Hamas official Basem Naim told Al Jazeera that Benjamin Netanyahu is “intentionally sabotaging” the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which looks more fragile than ever after Israel indefinitely delayed the release of over 600 Palestinian prisoners. Netanyahu is “preparing the atmosphere for returning back to the war”, Naim said. The UN secretary general, Antonio Guterres, said he was “gravely concerned” about “rising violence” in the occupied West Bank after the Israeli military sent tanks into the West Bank for the first time in more than two decades. The Israeli defence minister, Israel Katz, said the latest raid across the West Bank was expanding, and that troops would remain in the area’s urban hotspots “for the coming year”, meaning approximately 40,000 people displaced by the assault will not be able to return to their homes. It said that “all these efforts are proceeding in parallel with the launch of a political track” towards Palestinian statehood, which Israeli leaders have opposed. The summit called on Palestinian representation to be unified under the PLO, an umbrella group that is the dominant political force within the PA – and which excludes Hamas. “We are keen for the success of the summit, and we hope that there will be a call to reject the displacement and to protect the right of our people in resisting the occupation and governing itself away from any custodianship and intervention,” he added. Hamas also released a statement on Tuesday calling for the Arab League summit in Cairo to “thwart” the relocation of Palestinians from Gaza. “We look forward to an effective Arab role that ends the humanitarian tragedy created by the occupation in the Gaza Strip … and thwarts the [Israeli] occupation’s plans to displace [Palestinians],” it said. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/mar/04/egypt-proposes-53bn-gaza-rebuild-as-alternative-to-trump-plan Without referring specifically to President Trump's ideas, he underlined that "the Arab stance is to reject any displacement, whether it is voluntary or forced". This new plan proposes that Gaza would be run, temporarily, by a "Gaza management committee under the umbrella of the Palestinian government" comprised of qualified technocrats. Some Arab states are known to be calling for the complete dismantling of Hamas; others believe those decisions should be left up to the Palestinians. Hamas is said to have accepted it will not play a role in running Gaza but has made it clear that disarming is a red line. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cjd32xyjg4eo

"After hundreds of ceasefire violations, Israel has officially terminated the ceasefire agreement. In just the past week since the genocide has resumed: 1) Israel broke their record for the most children massacred in a single day... 2) Israel blew up the only cancer hospital in Gaza. They can't even lie and pretend it was a Hamas base, because Israel was using it as a command center for the IDF. 3) Israel directly targeted and killed beloved journalist Hossam Shabat. At just 24 years old he was killed by a direct strike on his car. Journalist Mohammad Mansour was also killed by an Israeli air strike on his home. His wife and son were also killed. 4) Israel shelled the International Red Cross HQ building in Gaza. 5) Israeli tanks hit several buildings housing UN personnel. They killed a UN worker. 6) Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a chilling statement saying residents of Gaza will face "force you have not known before". He offered to reward the civilians with ethnic cleansing if they overthrow Hamas. 7) Netanyahu was quoted as saying, “destroy homes, bomb with everything you have” after learning ‘only’ 1,500 targets were hit in Gaza. 8) Israel lynched and kidnapped the recent Academy Award winning director of No Other Land Hamdan Ballal simply because he made an honest film about Israelis violently kicking Palestinians out of their homes. 9) All of this comes at the heels of a 3 week mass starvation campaign. Israel has denied all food and aid from entering Gaza. Ignorance is not an excuse anymore. Israel is engaged in full on genocide, committing virtually every war crime in the book, and the US is funding it." Since we've experienced people ready to jump at every detail to attack the people who stand against genocide, I'll point out that the attack part of 8) was done by settlers as opposed to by "Israel", which, yeah, I would have worded 8) differently. But the military did take him afterwards.

Guess with so much news in so many domains this conflict isn’t punching through like it did a while back, but it’s still there obviously.

Hungary certainly doesn't as it welcomes Netanyahu. The way things are going ICC will soon go the way of UN.
