The successful businessman story is the biggest trick he ever pulled. Deutsche wants its money back once he's out.
I don't see the commercial real estate and hospitality business recovering any time soon. Even with the shameless grifting (inflated rates for government business, corona aid, etc.), all his properties are failing. Also, most of the properties the Trump brand is plastered on abroad is just licensing for highly dubious financiers.
His greatest success is inheriting and making half a billion dollars for that awful show. But compare that to the losses of the hotels and golf clubs alone. I don't see the tax wizardry either, even if they legitimize the 70m$+ return, the Trump organization is unbelievably unprofitable.
