There's a difference between "Pro 2a" and "Pro bumpstock", which is where the NRA(and therefore the GOP) currently is.
Sanders is an example of someone who frequently gets criticized for having a weaker anti-gun stance than preferred by many democrats.

Military times is closer to Selzer than morning consult in polling accuracy. Even if we adjust it, it still would indicate that in an R+4 state, it would only be 54-46 pro trump from the military there.
