We will be using PrintMojo to print out silk screened Team Liquid Tshirts! TL has offered to pay for orders ahead of time to provide this service to us. The more shirts we can sell, the more possibilities of other designs or other items will be open to us.
Note that we may work with the designer to tweak the final design to look its best. We also have the option to change the color of the shirt. Also note that the designs on these shirts can be bumped up to a bigger size to fit the shirt better. Maximum image size is 12" wide by 14" in height.

I think the flags were removed due to limitations on the # of colours we can use.

Why didn't they just turn them blue? because it would be hard to identify the flags?
so as zXk3 could not finish vector tracing the jellycat logo (the flags need to be done, he was busy irl), I would like to try and learn how to vector trace and finish it, if it ends up winning. But the deadline is passed, is it too late?
also it would probably come out better if someone who has experience vector tracing would do it, as I've never done one before.. i have the psd file link just PM me if you want it.

definitely just work on the unit details and flags like you said to make them as recognisable and close to the original as possible, while still keeping one colour. it would also be nice, once you've finished the touching up, to show us a range of colours. someone posted a few different types before in the other thread with eg blue shirt yellow design and they looked really great. much better than on a plain white tee, imo. great work btw.
we can work on prettying up details later. pls work with jellycat to make it pretty =].
i realize the shirt mockups arent all presented in the best light but i didnt have time to put in too much effort in making the shirt mockups pretty. use your imagination =p.

Also, I think all the people who are saying that the pony is gay and childish just don't get it. It's not childish, it's humerous, it shows that Team Liquid is a place where we can have a good time and not take things too seriously. Having a shirt like the skull horse sends the wrong message. IMHO, it reminds me of someone who picks a BNET name like XXXDESTROYEROFWORLDS666XXX, by trying to be tough and cool, it ends up seeming rediculous.

JellyCat's would have been the awesomeness with the flags. But now it's just not special . I really like suffeli's blue horse and shield, it just rocks.

Suffeli is only losing this because the shirt looks really ugly on this way should have just took his example he posted on the blue shirt. I'm pretty sure that would have gotten alot of extra votes! But oh well, lets wait and see for the winner
Jellycat's is my fave. The horse/shield one looks professional, but that's the problem. It looks exactly like a mass-produced shirt for a beer company or something you'd get at the mall. I hope we end up going with one that's more unique.

I also think you could be a more liberal with the editing: redraw the letters/stars slightly, change which units are there, and if possible, change the order of the flags so that you have light/dark alternating, which would make the flags much easier to see.

You just stated it yourself, one looks childish and stupid and the other looks cooler obviously.
The fact of the matter is no one knows what TL is except us, so that pony shirt is going to look gay to 99.9999% of the people who see you wearing it. The other shirt will at least look more normal and people will question it less and just assume its some designer shirt or whatever.
Out of the thsirts, jellycat's looks best but I don't think I would buy it. I'd deffinately buy suffeli's design if it had a transparent background and a tad bigger.
I'm back! I caught some really nice pikes and perches Anyway... It's really hard to see the real end result without the transparency and / or the real shirt color. So I made some quick edits to sort things out... and yeah, it looks too small on that shirt. I won't probably buy that pony shirt since it is too childish and it really isn't an interesting design for me. I wouldn't wear it anywhere except maybe home. But it really comes personal taste and I don't really care about arguing what looks best or worst.

Also, I think the blue shield design is way too serious. I mean it's cool and all but it definitely lacks the fun spirit of the Sandlot logo, plus, it's fucking awesome. Don't diss the horsy.
Ok, my friend dropped by today and was wearing a Tshirt with the skull horse design. Just the skull part and some different stuff around it. Were is that from? I dont really think we should use a design that is already out on the market so to speak.
Without the flags I don't see why we would go with the sandlot logo. I love it as much as the next guy, but it looks really amateurish and loses it's charm when it's stripped down like that.
The blue shield is the best looking one by far, particularly since it will still be scaled and the texture (ie. transparency, etc.) will be improved. Seems like a no brainer to me.

mnm has put a TON of effort into making this tshirt thing fly from the early stages. Obviously there will be a lot of care put into the final decision about the shirt.
She's done such a great job with this project. Don't start doubting her now, in the home stretch.

There are thousands of places to find dramatic looking t-shirts, but not so many to find more original, idiosyncratic shirts like Jellycat's. Its playful and interesting; serious-face overly designed shirts are a dime a dozen.

I definitely think there should be another poll with the top finishers. When I first noticed this topic and clicked on it, I scrolled down and saw the suffeli's horse/shield on a blue square on a white shirt. It looked odd, and had I not read that it would be scaled on a blue shirt, I wouldn't have voted for it. I'm sure many people had the same experience, but I'm not so sure many people also read that it would be scaled (ie. Fakesteve) so I think the poll may be a bit biased.
The jellycat logo looks childish to me imo. Sure it's original but if that were the only shirt in my drawer and I were going to club, I would go topless.
I mean the pony shirt is the most original, and has the clever little unit silhouettes forming the grassy hill the horsey is standing, but nevertheless its... a fucking pony. The horse and shield looks good, but it is a little generic given the style of print t-shirts. Maybe the artists can go back and re-do the most voted on logos and see if there's something that would be cool enough to wear in public (besides the fact that you're wearing a shirt from a website, but I mean aesthetically good looking) to the inattentive viewer, but teamliquidy/starcrafty enough so that other nerds will notice it.
Um for me, I only hesitated to vote for suffeili's shirt when I saw his second one, and voted the first one because it has a chance at winning. I could probably find some crayola markers and make the Jelly shirt on my own on a blank white t-shirt, the shield one looks amazing. I like the other shirts too, but I voted for the one I liked the best and that has a chance at winning. However, if multiple shirts were processed, I would buy several.

If it were that easy thats what they would do. When you get a silk screen u have to buy in a bulk of at least 36~ or so shirts. Its much easier/cheaper to do it this way.

QFT. i understand its a inside community thing that even i love. the sandlot picture was funny and fit us great. but to represent the community to the rest of the non internet world with a goofy horse makes NO sense to me. Personally, the pylon or the blue horse n shield or horse skull (for us brutal metal guys [and gals?]) are my favorites. Safest way to go IMHO is the Pylon shirt. Heres another idea i thought of. One thing i really liked about the Pony shirt was the hill he stood on with all the starcraft icons. If that shirt just didnt have the horse id be all about it. Maybe do something different with the placement of those little icons or w/e.

my vote goes to Jellycat Logo. I don't know why your complaining. What is teamliquid about? Starcraft. So, the most obvious choice would be to choose the one that is Starcraft related. The other 2 (blue horse and shield; skull horse) just don't. Plus, I'd rather wear a "childish" shirt than one that says "totally pwning your ass since 2002".
