Can you share those reports? Every analysis I’ve read by people in the know is about Russia not escalating on NATO soil after their drone in Germany . And reiterating that they will stand up for baltics. They base this on timing, plane choice, who went, how long they went for, and so on.

As I said.. It's time to ditch the US hegemony now.

Trump is terribly lucky that EU is run by 70 year olds that - for all their life - have looked up to america and can't even remotely picture a world where american leadership fails.

Review the TRIPS agreement about mutual protection of interlectual property and just no longer use EU-taxpayer money to protect US-IP.

It's legal as a WTO sanction against a country that actively sabotages free trade ..and kidnapping presidents.. and closing the strait of hormuz directly falls under that category.. not even mentioning the erractic tariff policy.

No longer pay for Oil using US-Dollars. Just give Norway some good old Euros.

Oh, while I'm at it. I also think activists who keep insisting on calling North America 'Turtle Island' are cringe and lost in the lost sauce, calling every one Settlers.

Given Turtle Island is a mythology limited to only certain indigenous groups, trying to push adoption across the entire continent for all groups, in my view, makes them as guilty of pan-Indianism as portraying every indigenous group with a teepee, feather in hair, and a tomahawk.

I'm not denying we deserve it, but it seems like it would be more farsighted to have a plan to collectively deal with any democratic country that elects its own Trump or Bolsonaro or Le Pen. Neo-fascism is not a uniquely American problem and it's not going to go away for the rest of the world even when Republicans fall out of power here.
