Considering that I don't live or vote in the US, I think I'm pretty safe from being a serious propagator of fascism.

Dude you have Croatia next to your name. Your first president went rather famous: "Thank God, my wife is neither a Serb nor a Jew."

That from last year only:

""You've now got politicians in parliament screaming 'Za dom, spremni'. On the streets, kids are singing not only that song, but other songs Thompson used to sing which glorify mass crimes in World War Two," she says.

"The government is creating an atmosphere when this is a positive thing. It is creating a wave of nationalism which could explode into physical violence.""

Haha, we are doing collective guilt now buddy?

Since I'm 18 I voted in every election and never voted for any of these people.

There are posts in my post history (feel free to search for it) calling HDZ (the party in power / Tuđman party) criminal organization and laying out the whole history of their existence and corruption, there are also posts calling Thompson a nazi fuck and shitting all over him.

I got beaten up for shitting on Ustaše and Thompson and Tuđman in high-school and I can still remember 1999 when people were crying on TV and me and my mom were laughing at them for being sad over the death of a war criminal and a corrupt piece of shit in Tuđman.

I'd say good try but I'd be lying, you did make me chuckle so kudos for that one old timer!
So, are you a pessimist? - On my better days. Are you a nihilist? - Not as much as I should be.

Considering that I don't live or vote in the US, I think I'm pretty safe from being a serious propagator of fascism.
You should've thought ahead on "live or vote" before you tried to argue about my relation to Michigan. I'm sorry, but you've put yourself in the same boat as me.

Given that you aren't even able to say that you'd vote against republicans in a key Senate state that might help push it back, plus, you know, your propensity to justify murder of kids, support for genocide, wars of aggression etc., I'd say you score like 8/10 on the "fascist enabler" scale.
Given that you dismiss responses just to ask for more and change my argument to make it easier for your argument, I'd say you're more interested in trolling about US Politics than any alleged fascism within US politics. You, LS, and GH probably share more of that than any of you are willing to admit. If your real objective is to associate your trolling with your charges of fascism, I'd say that you're doing an excellent job and to please continue. GH says voting for Dems is fascism, but you say judging evidence in wartime is fascism, separating primary races from general races is fascism, and criticizing left-wing candidates within primaries is fascism, McCarthyism, and Israelmaxxing. All things considered, you're being pretty transparent and open about your game.

Oh, buddy, I already replied to myself when this whole "dyhb would flush his own country down the toilet as long as it would annoy leftists" saga.

In the hypothetical where I lived in Michigan, I would vote for the Democratic candidate for Senate.

See, its very easy, and it's extremely weird that you can't bring yourself to even reply to this question, or even comment on it, you just keep on deflecting like you did from the first moment this question has been posed to you.
I hope you use the lesson of personal ease in writing to somebody that doesn't dismiss everything you say when you next show curiosity in asking a question.

Well, it would have been weird if you were who you try to sell yourself as and not a crypto-fascist.

Honestly, I have much more respect for oBlade, GH or Introvert, at least they are internally consistent and don't try to lie about who they are, more or less.

It's pretty pathetic that you can't even drop the act in an anonymous internet forum.
All the cryptofascism and McCarthyism and Israelmaxxing and the rest of the obstacles that you're constructing will hopefully tire you out. Whatever inner part of you is genuinely interested in engaging with the views of others is currently losing out to the stronger element that brands and dismisses the views of others. I'm observing the battle and hope that tomorrow or next week or next month the other one comes out on top.

I'm not refusing to engage with your alleged views, I just think you are lying, as I mentioned many times.

Only people around here refusing to do things is you and oBlade refusing to answer very simple questions.

At least oBlade just plainly ignores them, you don't even have the discipline to do that, thus the furious, hilarious and clearly triggered copy pasting.
You're so close to getting it. You're on the triple down on why you shouldn't be forced to engage with my views (lying, performative, McCarthyism, Israelmaxxing, I'm sure I missed a few). But in justifying why you shouldn't have to engage my views, you're also confessing that you haven't engaged with them. So you're back wanting to simultaneously say you're curious about my views while not accepting any of them. That's causing you cognitive dissonance and you're left whining that you have more questions to reject answers to!

I don't believe you're fated to continue on the treadmill of rejecting answers and asking for more, so that's why I gave you the hopeful future Jankisa in a previous post. Not today, but maybe tomorrow, or next week, or next month you can show the world that you engage in good faith and can accept sincere answers even when you don't like them.

Sure, let's bring this back up if you want to. I still don't think something an Internet streamer said years ago and already apologized for should be considered a bigger deal than something the actual candidates in the race said (in Stevens' case) or did (in Rogers' case) and didn't apologize for. But if you want to compare me to an adjudicated rapist for that, I guess I can't stop you, but I've been called worse things by better people.
It's tough to say things are different in degree when you "Hasan says gross things" "that was gross too" "that's pretty gross too" since it flattens your ability to make comparisons. That's why it was wrong when Trump supporters did it, and that's why your adoption of it was also wrong. But maybe you can see the problem now.

You brought up a good example in Obama, and I wish you hadn't dropped it without explanation. Obama specifically rejected the controversial statements made by Jeremiah Wright while Obama campaigned in the Democratic Primary. El-Sayed didn't do any of that in the primary. Now that the primary has passed and the heat kept increasing on El-Sayed (deservedly so), he was finally forced to do that two days ago. He should've done that from the start! He didn't, so he received justified backlash.

His new choice is whether to continue to campaign alongside Hasan Piker in the general, which might be a problem if Piker continues saying outrageous stuff. I hope there are debates between El-Sayed and Rogers.

If you ever catch me condemning Trump because I'm deeply concerned he won't condemn an internet streamer you'll almost have a point there.

You brought up a good example in Obama, and I wish you hadn't dropped it without explanation. Obama specifically rejected the controversial statements made by Jeremiah Wright while Obama campaigned in the Democratic Primary.

Eh, he was a bit wishy washy about it honestly.

"He [Obama] began distancing himself from Wright when he called his pastor the night before the February 2007 announcement of Obama's presidential candidacy to withdraw his request that Wright deliver an invocation at the event. A spokesperson later said, "Senator Obama is proud of his pastor and his church, but ... decided to avoid having statements and beliefs being used out of context and forcing the entire church to defend itself."[35] Wright attended the announcement, prayed with Obama beforehand, and in December 2007 Obama named him to the African American Religious Leadership Committee of his campaign.[36][37] The Obama campaign released Wright after the controversy.[38][39][40][41]"

Can you unequivocally say you'd vote for El-Sayed if you lived in Michigan AND he condemned Hasan's words in a way similar to what Obama did to Wright?

I don't care who you're defending, Trump or El-Sayed, if you flatten multiple candidates for office in a universal "gross things" "gross things" "gross things." The issue is whitewashing degrees of differences, not who you're doing it to.

Obama:

"I vehemently disagree and strongly condemn the statements that have been the subject of this controversy"

"I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies. I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it's on the campaign stump or in the pulpit."

Pretty clear and concrete, and not wishy-washy statements, wouldn't you agree?

You're forgetting that I specifically mentioned his comments on Iron Dome, that he didn't believe there is a difference between offensive or defensive weapons. Sorry, El-Sayed, there is a difference. He must specifically contradict that one with something like "Upon further study, I do admit that supplying Israel's Iron Dome system is a huge difference compared to supplying them with bombs and bulldozers. I have updated my prior understanding of the issue in talking with my friends and advisors." I'd like him to vote on future aid based on that difference. The Senate has an important role in foreign policy and foreign aid. If he maintains his new approach to Hasan Piker and retracts the Iron Dome lunacy, I'd vote for him instead of going third party or leaving that line blank if the election were held today and I were a registered Michigan voter. I'd also know a lot more about why the Democratic primary came down to those two, since Stevens ran a bad campaign and said a ton of weird junk that wouldn't lead me to vote for her either.

Once again, you're comparing something an Internet streamer said to things the actual candidates in the race said/did. It's getting increasingly ludicrous you can't or won't see the distinction there.

If you ignore the washy, then yeah, it's only wishy. Why don't you apply the same willful blindness to the controversial thing Hasan already apologized for?

You're forgetting that I specifically mentioned his comments on Iron Dome, that he didn't believe there is a difference between offensive or defensive weapons. Sorry, El-Sayed, there is a difference.

Why doesn't Israel spend their own money on the Iron Dome instead of spending a hundred million lobbying American taxpayers to pay for it? Part of the reason they have so much money for bombs is because America is already giving them tens of billions of free shit. My patience for this already wore thin when AIPAC tried to primary AOC even when she was still voting in favor of giving Israel supplies for the Dome.

"One person said gross things, another person said gross things, be consistent" is exactly how pro-Trump justified excusing the depravity and magnitude of Trump's personal character and statements compared to others.

If you ever catch me condemning Trump because I'm deeply concerned he won't condemn an internet streamer you'll almost have a point there.
I don't care who you're defending, Trump or El-Sayed, if you flatten multiple candidates for office in a universal "gross things" "gross things" "gross things." The issue is whitewashing degrees of differences, not who you're doing it to.

Once again, you're comparing something an Internet streamer said to things the actual candidates in the race said/did. It's getting increasingly ludicrous you can't or won't see the distinction there.
When you repeated three times "gross things," did you ever notice how that removes distinctions between El-Sayed, Stevens, and Rogers? All three of them said gross things, why would you presume to talk about distinctions after having said that?

Hence, the problem I had.

I'm happy to compare Obama and Piker:

Obama: I vehemently disagree and strongly condemn the statements that have been the subject of this controversy. I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies. I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it's on the campaign stump or in the pulpit.
Piker: I should've used more precise and better use of the language there. It's messed up that I would even give the opportunity to the right to try to morally grandstand on an issue like this, when they are 100% responsible for all the bloodshed that’s been caused.
I didn't say Americans deserved 9/11 — I said America deserves 9/11. Maybe you can chalk it up to English being my second language or whatever you want to chalk it up to
Obama takes Piker to the woodshed on this, and it aint even close! Good compare/contrast though, thanks for bringing it up.

El-Sayed thinks there's not a difference between offensive and defensive weapons, but do you think there's no difference between offensive and defensive weapons? You can wish to end all of it or some of it while acknowledging a difference. Democrats disagree on this.

Jankisa, myself, and LightSpectra laying the foundations, facilitating, and propagating fascism ...
Which Jankisa and LightSpectra would 100% agree with you if you would just remove their names and leave mine!

Careful, you don't want to take an ally that agrees with you about voting for Democrats and dissuade them from your cause by being unpalatable and accusing them of supporting genocide and fascism
We're guilty of arguing passionately for more moderate Democrats to represent that party in the national bodies. For that, the energy of my party's left wing energy is devoted to pushing moderate Democrats out of the party. The purity tests will continue until morale improves!

How much I appreciate this is possibly only matched by how impossible it is for people like LS and Jankisa to understand why.
"People like to look at history and think 'If that was me back then, I would have...' We're living through history, and the truth is, whatever you are doing now is probably what you would have done then" "Scratch a Liberal..."
