Your examples of double standards are absolutely spot on, and while I don't know if oBlade is purposely lying or just simply unaware, homosexuality is definitely not normalized with the Republican party yet. I don't think it's as life-threatening to be a gay person as it was 20 years ago, but that's very different from people truly accepting it. Kids and even adults are (justifiably) way more likely to stay in the closet if they have conservative and/or religious parents, family, and friends. Even though Republicans have been particularly obsessed with the trans community, none of the LGBTQ+ demographics are viewed equally/equitably yet.

Mate I am Polish born in seventies, you sure you want to go down this route? because I remember my bus being stopped by armed soldiers, I remember shots being fired at protestors, because I effing heard them. Slaughtering people is how capitalism stays in power. The US has been at war basically its entire existence. One thing that bugs me about capitalists and their lackeys is that they pretend that the status quo isn't already insanely/unacceptably violent.
