No one had to take this photo with a wanted war criminal. They all chose to.
They should all end up in the Hague, but I won't be surprised for people here to be advocating for one or more of them to be president in 2028.
If you tell me to (or that you will) vote for people in this photo, you disgust me. No amount of "lesser evilism" rationalizes that depravity.

GH you dont give a shit about gaza. You dont believe in harm reduction. Get out of here.

My general observation is that GH uses Gaza as a kudgel to air his grievances, over in the Israel / Palestine thread he has nothing to say except bashing USA as a whole.
Pretty cynical if you ask me.

Pretty cynical if you ask me. Alternatively, I just genuinely oppose genocide and want my fellow voters to stop voting for the bipartisan people aiding and abetting it.
Opposing genocide didn't use to be controversial among Democrat voters until their politicians made them feel forced to materially support it with their votes.
EDIT: I guess I should add that I basically agree with your posting in the Palestine thread (besides your dismissal of the indispensable role the US plays).

He is a genocide denier if it is an American enemy doing it. You can easily trace all his views to America bad. This is why ultra capitalist way more fascist than America or Israel, Russia is a good guy in his mind.

You're saying that failing to call your congress representative equates to implied support or opposition of something? That metric probably makes every last one of us guilty of supporting some pretty damn heinous shit.

If anyone here was to get a pass for not contacting their member of Congress, at least on a consistency basis it is GH given how they’re rather scathing of the entire machine.

Read the context. He hates the ACA and self admittedly didn't care about the tens of millions that got Medicaid because of it or would lose it because of the repeal. Does that sound like someone thats far left to you?

GH has criticized the ACA plenty of times for being not leftist enough (his words - it's to the right of Nixon). Whatever issues people have with GH, some I find legitimate, but the notion that he's 'not actually far left' is truly odd and entirely off. Pretty certain you're the one missing context, here.

As far as I recall GH says what he says on the ACA because he considers it the bare fucking minimum (if even that), and symptomatic of the low bar and low expectations of the modern Democratic Party.
It’s why he frequently invokes its similarities to Nixon’s proposed healthcare reforms, for example.
I’m here, rather a lot to put it mildly. I really don’t recall him hating the ACA or self-admittedly not caring if millions would lose benefits if it got repealed.
I mean to an outsider, even with the ACA aspects of your healthcare system are still absolutely absurd and inhumane.

How can you call yourself far left if you don't support Mitt Romney's style of healthcare reform is an interesting take

CBS to Cancel ‘Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ Citing ‘Financial Decision’
“We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire ‘The Late Show’ franchise” in May of 2026, CBS executives said in a statement. “We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television. This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.”
Colbert, who was informed of the network’s decision Wednesday evening, according to a person familiar with the matter, told the audience at the taping for Thursday’s broadcast about the matter. “It is a fantastic job. I wish somebody else was getting it,” he quipped, while offering thanks to CBS executives and the 200 or so staffers who work on his program.
Audience members booed. ““Yeah, I share your feelings,” said Colbert. “It’s not just the end of our show, but it’s the end of ‘The Late Show’ on CBS. I’m not being replaced. This is all just going away.”
though I would not put it past psychopathic executives to just cancel a show so storied like the Late Show for "financial reasons", the timing once again is ridiculous and everything points to another pesky voice being collateral damage to Trump's corrupt machinations.
the deconstruction of "The Cathedral" powers on, is The Daily Show next on the chopping block?
also this Epstein gem.
‘I’m Gonna Sue the Wall Street Journal’: Trump Rages Against Paper Over Epstein Story
President Donald Trump is suing The Wall Street Journal after it published a story about his relationship with deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The Journal reviewed an album containing 50th birthday greetings to Epstein from his associates in 2003. That album was compiled by Epstein’s friend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for child trafficking.
“Pages from the leather-bound album—assembled before Epstein was first arrested in 2006—are among the documents examined by Justice Department officials who investigated Epstein and Maxwell years ago, according to people who have reviewed the pages,” the publication stated. “It’s unclear if any of the pages are part of the Trump administration’s recent review.”
One of those well-wishers was Trump, who sent Epstein a birthday letter that contained a drawing of a nude woman
...
The message also contained an imaginary dialogue between Trump and Epstein:
“Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything,” the note began.
Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.
Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.
Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.
Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?
Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.
Trump: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.
suing the press for printing Epstein stories you don't like in the country of free speech - especially when it is one where POTUS has been exposed as the duplicitous sack of lying excrement he is.
Murdoch better weigh up if pleasing a wannabe dictator is worth tanking the WSJ over a story that is very much Trump.

I mean to an outsider, even with the ACA aspects of your healthcare system are still absolutely absurd and inhumane. I think at the time, GH was against the ACA being passed, particularly because it had all kinds of things watering it down in the name of bi-partisan politics. Then, to add insult to injury, it got held hostage by Joe Lieberman to remove the public healthcare option. This was at a moment when Democrats had a greater majority in congress than republicans do now. Progressive Democrats voted along because "anything was better than nothing", but they should've played hardball like Lieberman to get an actually decent healthcare bill, which was what GH wanted at the time. Playing nice just to get something was, in hindsight, a great recipe to get continuously sidelined and ignored within the party. And no, they aren't a majority of Democrats. But they're a lot bigger minority than whatever Sinema, Manchin or for that matter Joe Lieberman represented. But the "right wing" of the party was just far less likely to toe the line, so got far more of their policy points included.
