You should the amount of shit talking people do against Kate Brown on her instagram. It's really eye opening on how vocal these ignorants are.

Meh, that is a story you can tell yourself, but it doesn't seem to match the facts. The new spread in FL/Cali/TX is driven by young people. The average age of new cases is 29 the last time I looked at it.

It's driven by young people who are going to bars, clubs, salons, small venues, without any face masks. It's fact that most people complaining are young people who can't stand being indoor for more than an hour a day and can't stand wearing a face mask.
Protestors are still out and about, and none of them seem to be affected by Covid since a large portion of them are wearing masks.

My point was more that the overlap of "young people going to bars" and "conservative counties in California" is not very large. The weirdos who protested the lockdown in Michigan and their ilk are, statistically, not the people driving the new cases. Its college students, and people like my sister in law who can't stand a weekend without brunch.
Also, I suspect a substantial problem is our "essential workers" who have also seemingly decided that masks are not a rule for them. They appear to be taking fashion advice from this Biden Presser.

Not fair to blame Biden for defeating the purpose of the mask since Trump didn't show him how to wear one.

I was addressing why Kate Brown's social media comments have a ton of conservatives. It is due to the victim complex that develops from living in an area with very poor cultural development within a state that is very culturally developed. The areas in Oregon that hate our governor are places that are largely isolated and...suffer from that.

I have to inform people that in WA Biden would be in violation of our mask rules. Being 6 ft away from people inside does not make it okay to remove one's mask. Because unlike being 6ft apart outside, the air is stagnant.
The idea he's doing nothing wrong is dangerous to spread and puts people at risk of contracting the virus. It does however serve as an example of how it's not just Republicans setting bad examples that are followed by their political supporters.

I mean, Trumps twitter replies are full of progressives as well. I think that is just what happens on social media. I dont see it as very meaningful.

I'm not blaming him, I was just that picture because I knew it existed and was a perfect example of what I see when I go to any non-Costco store. I don't think people are following examples that are set by politicians per se, I think there are just people who aren't very smart and/or don't have good impulse control. The idea he's doing nothing wrong is dangerous to spread and puts people at risk of contracting the virus. It does however serve as an example of how it's not just Republicans setting bad examples that are followed by their political supporters. Your rules say that you would not be required to wear one when seated at a restaurant. It would seem to me that it would be safe then if seated at a meeting while properly distanced. But the big thing is that unless the photographer was from the future he would not be in violation of the rules since they don't come into effect until tomorrow.
Nope. It is just blind adherence to dollar bills. It is not safe to eat at a restaurant, 6 ft be damned. 6 ft is for brief contact, not sitting down at a restaurant for an hour. And a mask is encouraged for 6 ft.
Gas/particle physics tend to be a part of my expertise and the long story short is that time and distance can both lead to infection. If you are "properly distanced", but hang out with that person for an hour, you're probably getting sick.
Restaurants are being given an unreasonable amount of leniency because a shit load of them are definitely going to be going out of business in the next couple months. This is a pathetic temporary solution to a long term problem. And people will still get infected. The whole thing is stupid. Rather than trying to let restaurants let people dine in, states should be focused on finding ways to help businesses survive on take out and delivery.
