If you leave it off ice overnight, it'll be back at room temperature by morning. Though honestly it doesn't matter. Unless you have co2 tubes controlling pressure, your keg will be bad by the next evening anyways. It might be mildly drinkable if you pump the hell out of it at the end of the first night before going to bed (to re-pressurize the beer.)

What I'd recommend is putting a deposit on a bin or using a trash can and buying about 6 bags of ice with your keg. Start with 3 on the sides and 1 on top and dump two more in later in the evening. That'll keep it plenty cold for the evening. If you don't think you can drink a keg in one night, I'd recommend other alternatives since you'll just be wasting beer.

A pony keg (1/4 barrel) holds about 90 beers and a 1/2 barrel is about 180. If you don't see yourself drinking either, buy cases.

Not really, this question can be pretty realistically modeled. The tootsie pop is much more difficult/complicated I think.
