Brady is a surname.

Americans give their kids weird names anyway...Joy, Flower, Apple, Hope, Summer, Sparkle, Piper. Another error is naming your kid after a surname. Worse probably are the names some African Americans come up with, like Beyonce, Lakesha, La'aerial (serious).

Well my friend is going to ask out a girl named Brady today... and I always thought of it as a boy's name. Right now our entire group of friends is trying to convince him that he's really dating a man in disguise (rofl).

For one thing if your friends were serious about "you are dating a man instead" then they are acting like idiots. The name is just given to a child, and I doubt anyone would see any sexual characteristics in a baby.
