They should really have an image of the current chessboard at all time on the youtube stream, as someone that is not too familiar with chess it's really confusing to see them try out things on the board, in the end i'm not even sure what move Anad and Carlsen are actually doing.

The best thing imo is to keep another tab open where they show the current board.

Where could I find something that shows the current board? (Sorry first time i ever watch a chess match ^^)

Not looking good for Anand

I can see it not mattering, but why not move Rh5 to save the pawn too? Then start walking the a pawn from there?

the moves computers calculate changes again and again cuz players don't make computer's expected moves especially Anand while Carlsen doing the moves computer suggests so they reevaluate and increase the gap again and again.

Yes, but you don't need the exact moves and it is PRECISELY this reason why engines are slower in these positions

I posted at :38 that it was an easy rook ending for Carlsen and it simply was the case. The moves in between don't actually matter.

Because Carlsen wanted the option of advancing the a pawn and then moving the rook behind the a pawn (a4-a5, Rh4-a4)

Carlsen's probably wondering what he's gonna have for dinner after the game.

Shouldn't there be an endgame tablebase for this? If so, anyone knows what it says?

magnus getting up is indicating that this is actually a lot simpler than it really is after that: time to resign.
There is no such thing is "e-sports". There is Brood War, and then there is crap for nerds.

It says white pwns in current situation. It's over really, Magnus has to blunder to draw this.
