Greetings TeamLiquid, This thread is about Alcohol in all of its glory. Let's try to keep that nasty "alcoholism" talk out of here if we can. This is not a thread to discuss whether alcohol is bad for you or not, we know it kills your liver, leads to drunken rages (in some people) and is addicting.
On a lighter note, what does TeamLiquid prefer to drink? Personally I go for a nice crisp beer usually, hard liquor if I'm partying and wine if I'm in a bad mood, it's kind of sad though, I reach a sort of sad clarity about my life..ha.
Post em! Favorite drinks/reasons why. We can make this thread epic, if you know good drink mixes that you'd like to share, I'd gladly appreciate it, I'm always up for something new.
I'm currently drinking Budlight-Platinum, I gave in to the commercial advertisements and thought I'd try a sixpack. Now I'm more of a malt beer kind of guy but I figured I'd give Budweiser one more chance, I've been thoroughly disapointed in their standard lineup but I can honestly say that this triple distilled blend is actually VERY crisp and it doesn't leave a nasty aftertaste in my mouth.
We have a high thread, why not an alcohol one? Cheers!

Hi, I think there is already an alcohol thread, but I´m not exactly sure. If not this is a very good idea

I prefer plastic bottle vodka in a plastic cup diluted with whatever I can find around the house to migrate the terrible terrible damage vodka does to my taste buds

You know your country has more than just budweiser right?

No, I'm not one for light beers actually. This one is however very good. Cheers.

My dad used to drink cologne back in the day because it was cheaper to get drunk off of in Bulgaria. I'm sure it was super bad for you though. I'm a hard liquor guy myself, give me vodka or tequila and im happy.

Only thing I'm a fan of is ciders. Everything else tastes bad.
Current favorite:

Very sugary though, also carbonated or something.
Bar go-to drink:

terrible way to start the thread... bud platinum... really!? there are some fantastic american brews such as the Double Bastard, which is much more worthy of an OP beer

America has some amazing beers. The Oregon coast is packed full of world-class breweries. That's not to say there are bars that can hold a torch to those in Belgium. Personally, I'm a huge fan of Driftwood, out of Victoria, BC. Close by, and easy to convince the local liquor stores to carry their product :D

Colt 45 because you can buy two of them for 6 bucks lol.
|
Gin Jenever Corona Scotch For all of them they just taste the best

I'm not a fan of Bud but honestly, this is actually very good. Arrogant bastard Stone IPA is very good if you like stronger beers.

im not old enough (19) but I must admit to getting my dad's bacardi out and making myself a rum n coke about once a week, just tastes so nice

I generally stick to Screw Drivers (Gray Goose Vodka and some Orange Juice) or Scotch with Ice

yes I have tried the platinum and I'll admit I was pleasantly surprised. Much better than regular bud light
