No, it means that the government has no right to censor you. That's all it means. It has nothing to do with appropriateness. You might own your own forum and you would have every right say completely inappropriate things on it. Something it does not mean is that any private property holder has any obligation to publish your thoughts or opinions.

Something it does not mean is that any private property holder has any obligation to publish your thoughts or opinions. I knew I shouldn't have used the term "forum" on an internet forum. What I meant was that freedom of speech only protects your right to state your opinion, in a reasonably civilized fashion, where it is appropriate to state your opinion, and even that only on matters of opinion. But really, please make a dedicated thread if you want to debate this further.

Or- in general- whenever someone puts in an extra word for effect, but that word ends up being completely wrong. Especially words like Literally or Ironic or Peruse. If you don't know what the word means, use a different word >.<

People that drive through my village while I'm driving home. I need to turn by 90° so just slow the fuck down, when I'm signalling. Every time there's someone driving behind me I must drive on the left lane, because those douchebags hold a distance of 2 inches to my car and are too dumb to use the brake.

People who try to stir up fights with you at pubs. People who say that a science has more value than another (guess what they're into). False friends.

I have an acquaintance that does this intentionally. He's "preserving the integrity of his vehicle." Drives me up a wall too.
