Some economic theories are clearly more obvious and widely accepted than others. Much of lower level economics is basically logical truisms, and yet people often reject even those.

but this result is not surprising

Newsflash: it was over weeks ago. Maybe even months.
Sure, many of us predicted that Obama had this (albeit by just a little), but Florida and Ohio are just about to be called for Obama, which will actually be the final two nails in the coffin for Romney. I think those concrete numbers send a much clearer message.

Exactly. What mathematically sound plan did he ever propose? Can a republican who voted for him because of it please link one or is it just based on his promises?

I've totally missed out on zero of 51 precincts not reporting in Norfolk, VA.
Obama has a good shot to win Virginia now if he does 60%+ there. He did 70/30 in 2008.

90% counted and 49.9% for Obama to 49.3% Romney in Florida apparently

South Park is VERY educational.

It seems like Hurricane Sandy is going to have a few effects over here in NY...
1) Lower voter turnout, so less popular vote going to Obama despite him getting the points for NYS. 2) Lower participation in more localized elections in places which were more damaged by Sandy. New Yorkers can vote by affidavit in places other than their normal polling area by the governor's executive order due to the large amount of displacement of people from their homes, but they won't be able to vote for any office that isn't on the ballot in the polling place they attend. Considering how difficult it is to get gas around here there will probably be a lot of this.

because you couldn't be bothered to expend the minimum amount of effort looking for the actual studies, here's a link to the studies that were in the first few lines of the news article.

if you can't be bothered to click the links on the individual studies I'll gladly post them for you individually.

That's more what I was trying to figure out.
If I asked you to post a short story by, say, Anton Chekov, would you post a review of a Chekov story and call it a day?
