Ive heard good things about OSB and 1k. dunno about allen edmonds boots check for return policies online. alternatively, check stockists around you to fit it before buying. i really dislike buying stuff online if its expensive unless i've fit it before :[. glhf - is it snug? im probably more in between 9.5 and 10 in flyknits. Guess i should go 42. thanks - for the red pants wear stuff that'll help tone it down. that red is really bright and it'll draw a lot of attention. you wanna balance that out (either via complimentary colors, or darker neutrals to offset. ) - also i caved and kopped RRL denim :[. guess i wont be getting CPs till the spring (not that ill get much of a chance to wear them in the winter). On the plus side i wont hunt PJB/momos anymore and i've "saved" myself like $60-80. go with 42

That's why most of the boots they do recommend are extremely versatile. recent season slp fits have slim pointy boots if you're looking for a way to wear them. after December I'll do a recent cops post (past 3 months really)

http://putthison.com/post/7807163078/q-and-answer-how-much-can-my-clothes-be-altered Read those two. I'd suggest you find a reputable tailor in your area (usually that means NOT the lady at the dry cleaners, though sometimes she's good). If they say they can have the job done in a week...probably walk away. Quick run down: 1. sleeves should show some cuff 2. Depending on your build and style you may want to have it taken in at the waist a tiny bit 3. Pants - length - if you're short ask for 'little to no break' if you're taller ask for 'a little bit of break.' 4. If the pant legs are loose at the thighs it's possible to bring them in a bit. 5. You can also take the waist of the pants in or out.

I know there's a couple good websites out there with offerings, anyone help out and shoot a link my way? Also need a suggestion for a flexible moderately-dressy pair of shoes-- I need more stuff that could be construed as "business casual". I'm thinking a nice dark suede-type pair that pair with khakis. Think like college student level-- about $200 max for the suit

One option is Uniqlo - the blazer + pants are sold separately and run at around ~$150. Including tailoring costs (you want to tailor it!) you'll probably get to almost $200. I'm actually thinking about doing that (although I'm pretty happy with the suit I have right now so I probably won't). Alternatively, do what I did and to places with discounted "designer" stuff (loehmanns, nordstrom rack, sak's off 5th) and grab something that fits ok and have it tailored. It'll probably cost the same, but you might find something of better quality than uniqlo. Sak's has a line made by Zegna specifically for saks thats.... maybe $300? I think it was half canvassed and would be better quality than the other options.

Has anyone tried Oak Street bootmaker trench boots? I'm hesitant to buy boots online not only because of fit but because of how they might look, but they definitely look nice on their website. Can I put half soles on myself or would I have to go to a shoe store? Thanks Found this: http://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/comments/z2quy/mfa_boot_guide_20122013/\ Why does it say to stay away from pointy toes? i have a pair of 1ks and they are great, would recommend to anyone On December 03 2013 14:07 zulu_nation8 wrote: I got a pair of Unbranded 201s and 301s with $50 off both from urban outfitters. I'm a little scared of the sizing but luckily they allow online orders to be returned in store, hopefully they stretch out a bit. Unbranded website says 301s are actually one size down from 201s. They will be my first pairs of raw denim. if you button them up and they are snug (tight, but not super tight) then you will be fine as raws pretty much always stretch out after 10-20ish wears. if you can't button up the top button then move up a size.

Depends on the brand. Some pairs you actually want to be difficult as hell to button at first because they will stretch quite a bit. Waist is usually the most forgiving measurement imo, the top block of the thighs is a lot harder to get right usually.

You can always get it and see for yourself since its so cheap, but unless you have basically zero expectation you will most likely be disappointed. You're buying a blazer for basically the cost of a cheap t-shirt, so that should be a good indication of the level of quality you can expect.

![]() buying unknown-branded trendy clothing made in china off ebay for cheap is most likely a bad idea.
